Me and my bestie went in to see naked gun. I was banned while waiting for the food i ordered. The manager tim said that i was already banned before this interaction, which i haven’t been to the establishment in about 3 months, and before that over a year. When i asked why i was banned they never stated a reason, and said they can ban me for no reason if they wanted to. I am a teenager and i understand that i did stuff in the past but all i did was sneak in and walk around during the winter because there was nothing else to do, nothing bad or malicious but the managers have nothing better to do with their life so they kick out some kids. Now i am a paying customer trying to change my ways, and im told i am banned for something that happened over a year ago. I am then told that i have to leave and i will never be allowed back ever. No joke the manager tim is the most unprofessional person i have ever had the displeasure of talking to and told me that i can never come back even if i am dead and someone brings my ashes into the establishment. Dead serious he said that to me and i am mind blown that such unprofessional people are hired as general manager to run such a business that is pretty much just customer service. I am deeply hurt and am taking mental health classes now after my experience. And after all of that i never got my...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with a white rude female employee at the movie theater who treated me very dismissively and seemed completely uninterested in helping me. Her attitude left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome, ruining the mood for what was supposed to be a rare self-care day outing. What sparked the interaction was I asked for help with replacing a food item she rolled her eyes and basically very haphazardly dropped my requested item on the counter instead of handing it to me especially as I had my hand out to receive the item. It felt like i was being a burden for just asking for a simple replacement as I drop my item on the ground. It made for a special afternoon of self care turn very unpleasant.
Even when I tried to brush it off and enjoy the movie, the interaction kept bothering me and distracted me from the experience. A place like a theater should feel inviting and customer friendly, but this encounter made it feel like the opposite. I couldn't help but notice how other employees were polite to the other guest, which made the behavior I faced stand out even more. Honestly it made me question whether Id want to come back to that theater again. I ended up leaving the theater very quickly as I was not happy with...
Read moreI normally have a very pleasant experience attending MJR theaters. Staff are kind and courteous. Projection and sound are generally spot on and location is clean. But this one occasion of the hundreds of times I’ve been to their various theaters was very unfortunate.
When I entered the theater during trailers I noticed the projection was very dark and dim. I quickly notified an usher. They mentioned they would tell manager. 10 minutes went by and movie started. The projection was def dark. I went and told another usher. They called manager, who said they would check. After another ten minutes I went and found original usher. They told me that there was indeed an issue w projection but that since movie had started already there was nothing they could do. But this is why I mentioned the issue when there was still 10 minutes of trailers so the issue could be addressed and in turn not ruin the screening.
During the screening you could barely tell what was happening half the time because of the dark projection.
When I left I noticed they were very busy so didn’t want to bother anyone but I wrote customer service requesting a pass. They never...
