We placed an order, as we kept seeing good feedback about this restaurant. My son ordered a chicken Kabob wrap with just garlic, chicken and pickles. When we got home, the wrap had garlic, chicken and tons of lettuce. The website doesn't even state lettuce comes on it, he had to pick through and just eat chicken, which was mostly burnt. My bowl was missing beets and also chicken was very burnt. Sometimes places have an off day, so I contacted the restaurant and the response was to come back and they'd remake the whole order. When I arrived, the cashier stated only the items that were incorrect would be replaced...not what I was told, but fine. They remade the items and I was told prior to leaving that they were double checked for accuracy. NOPE! Unfortunately the bowl was worse than the first time, containing 2 servings of hummus (ordered 1 rice and 1 hummus on the side), leaving my toppings floating in just hummus, again no beets and the chicken was pretty burnt for the 2nd time. The hummus was good, but would most likely pass on this location, due to 2 tries without a correct order and other options around that are better...they definitely need to get the online menu accurate and someone to correctly...
Read moreI only go out of my way to write a review about a place if it is exceptionally good. Yallah Express is one of those places. I started a new job about three months ago. I don’t normally eat lunch, but my coworker and I have started telling each other if we’re getting food. When she said she was going here and another coworker chimed in and said “you won’t regret it” I said yeah I’ll try it. $15 for middle eastern Isn’t gonna break the bank, even if it isn’t that good. When she got back from picking up food and I had a chance to try it, I couldn’t stop eating it. It is so good. On top of that the amount you get in a bowl will feed you for at least two days. I’ve now made this might go to place for what my husband and I call “Super Secret Snack Friday”. This is where we will choose a place to get takeout from on Friday night after a long work week. We keep it a secret from our kids and binge watch TV with our door closed as an impromptu date night. It definitely tastes better because the secret lol. Also, the staff here is amazing. Everyone is always so friendly and they get your food out very quickly. If you have the opportunity, please stop by and check them out. As my wise coworker once said, you...
Read moreThis place has been getting rave reviews all over a few social media groups I follow, so I finally had the chance to try it today........it completely lived up to all the things I've read! I went in to order a carry out of their chicken shwarma bowl with rice, a side of their Yallah sauce & a small Baba Ganoush. I still can't get over the size of the bowl! I decided to weigh it on my food scale & that thing tipped the scale at just over 2 1/2#'s! It was FULL of all sorts of yummy deliciousness. Nothing negative to comment about, except for the baba ganoush. The taste was fabulous, however, I wished the consistency was more thick & not as runny. And I don't know what that Yallah sauce is made of, but what I DO know is it was delicious 😋 They have a slew of employees feverishly working in the back cooking their little hearts out for folks & they're doing a top notch job at doing so! I hope they're able to make a go at this location, because for the past decade, no restaurants seem to last on that corner. And as long as they keep up doing what they're doing, I don't see why they wouldn't make it as a staple middle eastern carry-out in...
