I called English Gardens yesterday because I was having a problem with a plant, I have in my house. it's a palm I told them the leaves were turning brown, I wanted to know if mushrooms growing up out of the dirt was an issue the person I needed to talk he was outside helping with some issue they were having outside so they told me that he couldn't come to the phone. I told him I'll come up and speak with them. When I arrived they were outside and the gentleman that I needed to talk to about the plant he wouldn't even give me the time of day it was a young man that walked over and told me he would help and I told him what the problem was with my plant he told me I was given the plant too much sunlight I need to take it out of sun we're talking about a palm these are tropical plants they need sunlight so I just left because I knew what he was telling me was not correct. I called the English garden on Kelly I spoke with a young lady over there thank God she was willing to help a long time client as well with English garden she told me what the problem was. Getting ready to go to the Kelly store. Thank God there's more than one English garden and there are some people that are still into customer service thank you...
Read moreI have been a customer to the Clinton Township store for 20 years. I felt very loyal to them. I went there this weekend to purchase some Modinex panels they had on display and listed for sale and would have been a $500 sale for them. They would not sell them to me because they were using them for a COVID barrier. I asked for the manager. The sales associate would not get that person. I’m sure they could have found something else to use as a barrier that could have also looked more professional. This was very upsetting to me as I had a project planned with them and they had the inventory I needed. They had sale prices and sale signage right on them. They need to realize they have lost a loyal customer that has spent $1,000 or more a year there valuing over $20,000 over the last 20 years. You will now lose a customer valued at over $20,000 or more over the next 20 years plus anyone I can tell my story to. Goodbye English Gardens. I’m so...
Read moreMy husband and I went into the store last Sunday. We have been going there forever. I am unable to wear a mask however did, and my husband wore a mask too. My husband does not wear the mask over his nose. We were greeted by a guard, who immediately told my husband to pull it up over his nose. My husband told him no, this is not how he can wear his mask. He has issues with his glasses and it also causes them to fog. He kept telling us it was the "law" (executive order, they don't even have a clue)to wear the mask over your nose. Within minutes he told us to leave . He then proceeds to yell across the store to call the police. Since when is there any law, let alone a law that tells you how you must wear your mask. If you are medically unable to wear a mask well just forget about going into that store. I spoke to a corporate manager and he is perfectly fine with what the guard did. Can you...
