Milan Laser Hair Removal — Attraction in Clive

My overall experience with Milan Laser Hair Removal has been great! Unfortunately today I had a weird/negative experience while on the phone with their receptionist Jen. I called in to see if there was any possibility of moving my laser appointment up a few weeks due to an upcoming trip. Initially Jen was extremely accommodating taking into account their availability and mine. She even offered to ask a nurse if they could reschedule before my 10-weeks were up to try and squeeze me in ASAP. I'm not entirely sure what happened between her going to speak with a nurse and getting back on the phone with me, but she 100% thought I couldn't hear her on the other end. She even said to her coworker, "No she can't hear us I heard her talking to a friend she isn't paying attention to the phone." Well Jen I WAS paying attention, I (and my friend) COULD hear you, and my name is NOT "Lacey freaking Woltz". Hope your day gets better and I'll see you at my upcoming appointment ✌️

Extremely painful experience but the results are drastic and worth it imo. Keep in mind I'm white and have pretty dark hair and that affects how good the results are. While the pain of most sessions is about the same, certain sessions, corresponding to the regrow cycles, are a significant jump. Make sure you know the level of pain you're signing up for before you pay for it.

Nurses and other staff are all super kind and put up my staling rambles. Shout-out in particular to Bailey who didn't get annoyed at all despite me significantly slowing down the process due to pain.

If I had one compliant to bring up, when I was trying to decide which treatment I wanted they removed the ability to upgrade from a specific area treatment plan to a full body treatment plan and only pay the difference. I love this place. Treatments are approximately every 5 weeks. The treatmenta do hurt a little bit but they slow down whenever you need and it only hurts for a few seconds. They are thorough with checking for any skin reactions and while I was super nervous, to the point of tears when I first met with them they were all very sweet and made me feel empowered. They helped me realize that the problems with my skin's reactions to razors and shaving are not super rare, I am not alone and treatment was possible! They are also upfront about which hair (too fine) isn't likely to benefit from treatment. Also, the 0% interest payment plans were easy to set up so even that was not an obstacle. Great choice for hair removal (with added benefits of boosted self-confidence and empowerment.
