Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve — Attraction in Colerain Township

Based on experiences at the Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, I cannot in good conscience recommend this location. It is very hard to find and this area suffers from several major drawbacks that detract significantly from any potential visit.

The preserve is notably small and compact, offering limited opportunity for exploration or a long walk. Furthermore, its location is uncomfortably close to the road, resulting in continuous, disruptive traffic noise that severely undermines any sense of peace or natural environment.

However, the primary issue is the atmosphere and safety. There have been observations of unsafe people. The area does not feel secure or family-friendly, leading to serious reservations about visitor safety.

This is a perfect place to go read a book or sit with your loved ones or maybe some friends. Bring your dog a walk, there's a drinking area for your pets as well. I thought it was neat how they have a designated area with wood provided to have a fire. The Landscaping is very nice. There's also a park Ranger on site.. The park ranger is very adamant about keeping any suspicious activity a way from the park. A little too adamant to where it can make you feel uncomfortable. I hope this gets acknowledged.
