Visited this Target branch in Colerain, Northgate, OH quite a few times. It is a very clean store with very efficient staff who are really ready to help. The only issue while shopping in store, at least from my experience is that you wouldn't really find prices cheaper for quite a lot of merchandise they sell. There are exceptions though, considering any sale going on just like with the other stores.
In this regards, my first preference would always be Walmart and then, Kroger. You would always find a whole lot more selections at Walmart (Especially, clothing and in particular. Children's) and that too, way economical in comparison! But, Customer Service with Walmart is a way too different story altogether.
Over the years, I only used to purchase either cotton vests or just travel size shaving or bath supplies for some trips from Target. Used to buy bread there, soon after their opening which isn't the case now. You would also find that some of the products which they sell are significantly priced higher than other neighborhood stores.
My memorable experiences with Target: I had a great online order experience back in 2017 during their Thanksgiving sale. Bought a 32" inch Vizio LED Smart HD TV with built-in WiFi which was store delivered. It was an easy pickup even when they were busy. Just had to show the proof of purchase with a probable QR Code which could be easily scanned. I got my order in no time! The TV is still going strong and no complaints whatsoever.
Lately, I have purchased housewares, modern and sleek, kitchen utensils, apart from great silicone lunch boxes and water bottles which were unique and rare to see or buy. Purchased Sony's Noise Canceling Headphones which seemed to be a good buy especially with the sale price. These products don't come with any damages.
In conclusion, I wouldn't say that I am a regular Target Customer, especially factoring in the overall prices or the price comparisons. It's a very well lit store with ample cash registers open or even has self serving checkouts. The Store associates are always there either to answer your questions or help you in other ways. Starbucks within the store hasn't really drawn me to this Target store probably because I am not a big Starbucks person simply because it's more expensive. I would rather opt for either Peets Coffee (Found in some U.S. airports or Capital One Cafes') or Costa Coffee. It's your choice, if you want to shop Target, go ahead and its just your...
Read moreI have been trying to obtain a PlayStation 5 for months now. I spent all of this morning refreshing Target's website when I finally saw that they were in stock. I added the console to my cart and began the checkout process. My credit card info and store pick up location (Colerain) were entered as well. I clicked the "Place Your Order" button and was greeted by a "High Demand Item" message that essentially told me to keep trying to check out due to multiple guests trying to check out at the same time. All of the sudden..... a "Cart is empty" message appears. My item was taken out of my cart without my approval. The item was now out of stock. I spoke with a Dillon @ the Colerain location in electronics (very polite and understanding) who essentially agreed with me that this is a common problem with Target and their website. I was advised to call corporate, who in turn would get it cleared up. I eventually reached a Kevin who was a senior specialist. I was told that Target could do absolutely nothing to make this issue right. This is also a common issue among many other people that I have noticed after reading reviews. Once you secure something in your cart to check out, it shouldn't be possible for that to be taken away from you. From the moment that I added the item to my cart to the point that I clicked place order was no longer than 2-3 minutes. I never walked away from checkout during the process either.
Extremely disappointed, and I will NEVER spend another dime at Target.

Read moreWas not pleased with them wasting my time. I went there for an interview, I arrived early and they just wasn't prepared for the interview. They were playing to many games and were to secretive. They want to know all about your job and pay rate especially if its a retail job but won't tell you the position you are applying for pay rate. Then they want you to take soo many personality test. They have you take one during the online application process, during your interview and after the interview taking an hour long survey. The store itself is very stereotyped. They don't have to many black people or other cultures working there. Mostly Caucasian and they have Mexicans cleaning the store. I come from places where we all worked together no matter our color as a team. Obvious favorites on board. If you had to work here I suggest you make it a serious part-time position and have a backup job in the works. My roommate worked here and they didn't honor her maternity leave. Practically telling her there is no guarantee they will hold her position for long, in which concerned me because they tried to get me to apply to another position more then once, and a position that I clearly was not qualified for. They pressed this issue more the 2 times. Great store set up, poor management and courteousness to individuals who are actually interested in working for this...
