★★★★★ Food quality ★★★★★ Service ★★★★★ Ambiance ★★★★★ Value ★★★★★ Menu selection ★★★★★ Location/Accessibility ★★★★★ Overall experience When I was in the mood for a quick bite, I decided to check out the neighborhood Subway restaurant. It was my first time visiting this particular location, as I rarely order from Subway outside of work. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a sign that read "No Restroom," which was no problem as I was there for the food, not the facilities. As I walked in, I noticed that the restaurant was quite small, and there were only two staff members manning the counter. Although they didn't seem to be native English speakers, it didn't affect their ability to take my order. They asked me the usual "What would you like today?" but didn't interact with me beyond that. This allowed me to take my time to observe the interior and take some pictures. The interior was small but cozy, with all the tables and seats arranged close to the wall. This created a large space in the middle, perfect for people who prefer waiting for their orders standing. Although the restaurant was empty during my visit, the layout would have made it easy to navigate even if it was crowded. The drink fountain and closed restroom were located at one end of the restaurant, while the decor on the walls depicted various fresh ingredients used in the sandwiches. The lighting was a bit dim, but it added to the cozy atmosphere of the small space. The female staff members had finished my order before I could complete my observation, so I grabbed my food and left. Although the lack of customer service was noticeable, it didn't take away from the quality of the food. I ordered roasted turkey mayo flatbread sandwiches and I must say, they tasted pretty similar to other Subway restaurants I've visited before. The flavor was mild, yet blended well together. The flatbread complemented the turkey and vegetables perfectly, while the mayo sauce added a bold twist to the whole sandwich. As far as quality goes, they used normal ingredients, nothing fancy but it definitely didn't feel cheap either. All the ingredients felt fresh and the sandwich itself was a bit warm, but I popped it in the microwave for 30 seconds to bring out the delicious aroma hidden within. In terms of value, Subway is always a cheap and healthy option, and you can almost always find a coupon that further reduces the total price of your order. This particular restaurant was a bit more cheaper than the one I usually go to, about $1 cheaper. However, Subway's variety is what draws people in. With over 12 types of sandwiches to choose from, all fully customizable, you can remove any ingredients you don't like, which is perfect for people with dietary restrictions or vegetarians. They also have a make-a-meal option where you can add a snack and a drink for a cheaper price if you buy a sandwich. While the staff at this Subway location may not have been the most friendly, it is important to remember that cultural differences may play a role in their communication style. As someone who has traveled extensively and experienced a wide range of dining experiences, I can appreciate the value of quick and efficient service without the frills. It's worth noting that the lack of pleasantries and polite exchanges may come across as rude to some American diners, but it's important to consider the cultural norms and expectations of the staff as well. Overall, I'd recommend this Subway restaurant for anyone looking for a quick and satisfying meal in a...
Read moreRarely do I rate one star for food, service, and atmosphere. But here we are. I’ll start with each of these in that order. As a lady was making my food she would drop things like the tomatoes and the pickles and pick them up and put them on my sandwich. I don’t want food that’s been dropped on the counter on my sandwich. Service was another big issue. It was hard to understand what she was saying, but because I’ve been to Subway® so many times I just kind of led the conversation and told her what I wanted. This was the least amount of mayonnaise and mustard I got on any sandwich at any subway it’s like they’re trying to save pennies. The atmosphere was weird. They had a row of tables between the customer and the counter where you would order as to keep you distance from them. Very strange. I did tip, which I normally don’t do but was amazed that my meal came out to $17.22 with $1.56 tip. That same mill I get other locations and it’s almost 3...
