The food was great as always! Our service was okay, we had a bad experience with management and other servers besides our initial server. We went with a couple friends, ourselves we got charged for the 18% gratuity, which is crazy to us as we’ve NEVER had to pay that and always have been able to choose our tip amount when we’ve with 6 people. They included our kids but never had before, we asked to speak to the manager and when she came out she was rude first thing when she out, we explained the situation and she just started saying that they won’t take off the gratuity and as it is policy we have to pay that, we’ve again with my family of 4 and 2 friends not all adults have never had to pay the 18% gratuity. We would’ve still tipped our server but $29 and some change is a little much because the service was not 100% perfect but not terrible! (As it’s not the servers fault!) We asked to speak with owners, manager called and talked to them in the back, whilst doing that the manager was back there talking to other servers about the situation with us and they would come out and give us dirty looks, shaking their heads when we’d make eye contact with them and one was talking smack under his breath every time he walked by us which I heard a few things a couple times when walking by us. Which is so unprofessional and not necessary at all when our situation had nothing to do with them too it should been just us, our server and the manager and owners not the whole restaurant crew! She also said 18% is the base tip amount percentage here in CO which is not true. I feel a tip should be based on how well your service was and should be given an option to tip in case the service was bad. We asked if we can have the owners number or a number to reach them and talk to them ourselves but wouldn’t and would go to the back of the restaurant call them then come back out. Rudely offered to give us gift cards but continued to say they will not take that off. After going back an forth 3-4 time between manager and the owners (through the manager) she came out the last time to tell us owner said the only way they can take that tip off is by us never returning to the restaurant! That was fine with us both, she then snatched the check from our friends and snatched my card from me to go process our payments. Then was talking crap to the server that was talking crap when walking by us. We didn’t plan on going back after this anyway, because this has never happened before; I ALWAYS overlook my checks first to make sure we were charged correctly for everything. I’ve always been able to fill the tip line out! The manager was very rude and unprofessional and is losing customers this way! I am just upset because they’ve never charged us that gratuity before and not all the sudden then do. I can understand 6 adults. I am not trying to bash our server but I just want to leave this because the manager was very unprofessional and rude and could’ve handled things completely...

I took my grandson to Juicy Seafood to celebrate because we hadn't been able to see each other for several months because I was sick. We both love seafood. Our server was Jessica she was extremely friendly, she explained the menu to us because it was our first time dining there. We chose a meal for two with Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Shrimp, sausage, corn, and new potatoes we chose the Cajun sauce, and also chose to add mild spice (cayenne pepper). The meal is like a Louisiana Crab boil. Everything was cooked just right, the flavors were delicious. I grew up along the Gulf Coast in NW Florida so I am not impressed by mediocre seafood. It’s hard to find good seafood in Colorado but my grandson and I were very happy with our meal at Juicy Seafood as well as the wonderful service provided by Jessica. She was friendly, attentive, outgoing all while being extremely busy with multiple large tables but all of her tables seemed very happy with her service. The only thing I wish there had been more of was the corn on the cob. There were only two corn halves in the entire meal. We ordered an extra side of corn on the cob for a $3.00 charge. I also added an extra 1/2 pound of headless shrimp to our meal because my grandson and I both love shrimp. It turns out that was totally unnecessary as we had a bunch of shrimp leftover to take home as well as a bunch of new potatoes, some crab, and a few slices of sausage. Jessica surprised us with a free dessert which was very thoughtful. Our initials were added to the dessert plate in a strawberry flavored gel. We were very happy with our entire experience at Juicy Seafood. My grandson wanted to leave a 10 star review. He kept saying over and over again we needed to leave a great review. So, here I am leaving a great review. Jessica even took some photos of us so we could look back at a wonderful evening together. We will definitely go back. The meals aren’t cheap but you expect to pay more to get good seafood in Colorado. The prices aren’t outrageous. It’s a good place to go for a celebration of some...

We finally got a chance to check this place out in Colorado Springs.

The atmosphere/motif was kinda cool. Menu was a little bit much to wrap our heads around, but then again, this was our first visit.

We ordered a couple of adult drinks. They were good. Long Island Iced Tea & a Hurricane.

Waitstaff was super helpful and pleasant. Food was good. Not bad at all. I also thought it was really reasonable for what we got (considering we ordered drinks and a couple sides we probably didn't HAVE to have).

I had the (basically, most everything is fried) Softshell Blue Crab, a 1/2lb of Crawfish. My girlfriend had Shrimp and some hush puppies. We both had Cajun fries.

The criticism: I felt like the hostess MAY have been a little put off that we requested a booth, and made us wait unnecessarily for about 15 minutes before seating us. There was a booth clearly visible and cleaned off when we arrived and sure enough, that is the one we got seated at. Maybe I was just hangry, but it didn't vibe right with us.

The biggest issue is, the window screens were pulled down and they were absolutely gross! I mean like borderline "lose my appetite" gross.

Like imagine if you captured a room full of Gremlins, put them in blenders, and took the lid off while puréeing them. THAT gross (and I have a pretty strong stomach - I have grown kids)

Have them cleaned, seriously, or have them replaced. They look like the surface of a fly swatter that's been on the front porch of a fish market in Pensacola, FL for 13 seasons...

Cool thing was them bringing a bucket of bibs and gloves for getting ears-deep in your aquatic eat-and-greet. One thing that was missing (in ours at least, I realized after eating 1/2lb of crawfish and evacuating their heads of spice-infused swamp water) was some kind of wet-wipe... Dude, come on! I was scaring small children with the halo of mudbug souls encircling my mouth; not to mention my nasty hands!

All-in-all, give it a try. We didn't walk away hungry (or broke), I'll say that. (Those...
