Would recommend! I planned an August family wedding at PR and used the tent. Everyone was extremely happy with the outcome! There were a lot of kids at this wedding and the space they had to run around was perfect. Ashley, the even coordinator, was fantastic! Super helpful and chill. If you want an outdoor venue, this is a GREAT option. Would use again in a hot second! See update below. BUYER BEWARE. Originally this was a 5-star review....communication went well through the event. But eleven days after the event we were informed that we would not receive our security deposit due to grease stains on the concrete and a broken garden light. If that was the whole story, I might understand . . . However, we completed a walk-through with the staff after our party cleaned up and the PR staff person said we were good to go. Keep in mind we had a large group of willing guests stay to clean up. How is it our problem if THEY missed something during the walkthrough? Allegedly, many man hours and cleaners were needed. Get a pressure washer. And if there are any Chipotle people out there who can explain to me how their grease "stains concrete", please give PR a call and let them know how you clean your floors. As for the garden pole...a small child leaned against the light and the light fell over causing the child to fall into the small pond. We checked all of the lights only to find them loose, unsteady, and haphazardly wired. We assumed that PR was aware of this liability. Is it a trap for unsuspecting guests? Who knows. Finally, it took PR almost a month to explain themselves. The excellent communication we had leading up to the event all but vanished. My initial impression of PR was that of a dying subculture, which is truly unfortunate. However, the lack of upfront communication and facility maintenance did not help. After much much frustration and effort on my part (the planner) and that of the bride, the groom talked to PR and was able to half of our...
Read moreAwesome experience complete with a hunt for one of the items as a scavenger hunt sort of. My out of town daughter and her bf joined in the search and checked out the whole place!! ALOT of exhibits!! But I will have to say the prize to choose from needed to be all pro rodeo stuff instead of random calendars, travel hand sanitizers, prca pencils and other tiny random things in a basket. The experience was cool but I was a bit taken aback at the prize basket really. The basket needs prca stuff.......been nice to win a prca calendar or a prca magnet or prca hand sanitizer, prca post it notes, prca lapel pins, prca stickers, prca coloring book, or prca mini replica memorabilia...((ya know since the place is a pro rodeo hall of fame....))
Other then my disappointment over the prize bucket it was great and the lady at the desk was super nice and informative. The short film about the history of rodeo was pretty cool and my 4 year old love love loved the little play area although yalls play chaps were seriously damaged..(and I get it, some people don't watch their youngins very well) She loved the play stall and definately loved the bouncy sheep! Her, her sister and sisters bf had fun pretending to be in the rodeo so it was great memories being made for all!! Pretty cool stuff in the gift shop! I got a Lane toy for my daughter's bf (totally can go to his Lane collection) and a cowgirl barrel racer for my young daughter, my older daughter found a good quality, pretty blue button shirt pro rodeo hall of fame patch on the upper arm for her next bullride! I bought a magnet for my fridge everything there was reasonably priced and so fun fun....you could spend all day in that building and still not see everything, so we will be back next time daughter visits again. Thankyou for...
Read moreI was a vendor at a wedding booked at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. The wedding party and guests were treated poorly and disrespectfully by the host who was not only cold and rude but also violated their contract. The venue stated that the wedding party could use the venue the day before the wedding for the rehearsal, but on the day of the rehearsal the venue booked another event to make more money. They did not let the bride know until an hour before the rehearsal was going to occur. The contract stated that in the event of inclement weather, the wedding could be moved indoors. When the ceremony was about to begin, it was raining and so windy that items were blowing off the tables. The bride and her party approached the host about moving indoors but the host did not let the wedding move indoors. So some glass decor was broken due to the wind and tables were completely cleared to adapt to the weather, leaving completely blank tables during the wedding. The host never lifted a hand to help in any way. Instead the host stood outside a conveniently located bathroom and snapped at guests who tried to use it that the designated bathroom was the only one that they could use. It was located entirely across the museum on the other side of where the wedding took place. Do not book this venue. It is cheaper than some other venues but the views are lackluster and the treatment...
