Riechmann Indoor Pavilion — Attraction in Columbia Township

We rented the building for our reception and were told if the building was cleaned and left how we found it, we would get a refund. At the end of the night we had everyone cleaning up the building, put all the chairs up and tables, swept the floors and took the trash out as well. We were told that we won’t get our deposit back because we left the building a mess and when we asked, what exactly, we were told they would have to look in the report. Lesson learned to take pictures of everything when you are done cleaning up, to have proof. They also took away money because they said we did not pick the key up on time, and said they emailed us, which we didn’t receive an email, we in fact had to call them about the key and where to get it. Strict as far as decorating options when you are renting but it is a pretty enough building that you can dress it up without breaking their rules for events. Would be nice if the plaques weren't hung and mounted so they weren't visible during formal events like wedding receptions. They don't allow you to hang anything on the walls. My husband and I got married at Riechmann Pavilion in Oct 2023. We had a tighter budget, and this venue checked all of our main boxes.
