Trinity Episcopal Cathedral — Attraction in Columbia

Terrible experience in a beautiful building. They shamed us when we came in for not wearing a mask. Not friendly people but cutting eyes 👀 all around. We were sat in the very back away from everyone. After a few readings and hard to understand songs, a woman came over and asked us to wear a mask. I told her my GOD was bigger and that we were far away from others. She then threw us out!!! GOD is not in this building. The Bishops response is a LIE. I never "stormed" out I was asked to leave. We left quietly. The woman following us out said we are so sorry. I replied with " no your not" you wouldn't kick people out of the middle of a church service if you were...

My wife and came at Christmas last year for a day service because we are elderly and don't like being out at nite .and it was the most terrible experience of our lives they the treated us for being out sides we are from Lexington we were dressed nicebut if looks could kill we would both be dead how dare us for wanting us to worship christ wirhthese people funny thing is some how they the church got our last review on Google removed as a business owner myself I wonder how they pulled that off as a kid growing up in Columbia we always injured going there for the Christmas service what a shame...

We were passing through Columbia and came upon this humbly beautiful church because it was near the State House. The building was closed because the last service had just ended, but the young man is purple vestments (please pardon our ignorance—we are not churchgoers) noted our curiosity and let us inside to look around.
