
HORRIBLE!! customer service!! I called and spoke to Curtis, I informed him of the 3 products that I would like to rent for a fundraiser this weekend. He informened me to go online to their web site and fill out a form. At which point he would contact me to let me know if the items would be available and to get payment from me by check over the phone. I filled out the form, but did not receive a phone call from him. or an invoice, In place I received an email from their company a couple days later,stating that my order was cancelled do to non payment.
When calling, Curtis was rude and saying that he needed payment, when told several times that I needed an invoice with a total on it to process payment he said there was nothing he could do the form that I filled out was my invoice. I let him know that I needed one with a total amount owed on it and he said "to add it up" Very poor costumer service. I will be reaching out to another company to full fill my needs for the weekend..
Update: Upon placing this comment immediately I was called by Curtis, He was very upset that I was placing my experience with his company online. He would not give me the chance to talk and continued to talk over me. Saying that he will be going to my company's web page and leaving a negative review. When asked to speak to a manager he said that he is the owner. While I was in the process of updating this review he called again and gave me the option to take the review down or he would contact the manager of my workplace. he insisted that the reason for my negative review were because he would not give a discount for his services. It was requested and denied. I was happy to take in place a 20% trade for services.
When saying that I am sorry that you will not be getting my business he stated that he does not need it, that the money that we would be spending is nothing to him.
What a shame, The reason that I reached out to Awesome Family Entertainment in the first place was because of the glowing reviews. But possibly there are nothing but great reviews because he threatens anyone that attempts to leave a negative review

   Read moreThis company is TERRIBLE!! I booked a balloon twister for my daughters 1st Birthday. The party was from from 2-4pm. The balloon twister was booked from 3-4pm. I received a phone call at about 11:30 stating the balloon twister had to cover another party at the last minute right before ours, they wanted to let me know they may be a few minutes late. I completely understood this. I understand things happen and I was ok with them being a few minutes late. I received a phone call from the twister at about 3:30 (3:34 to be exact) stating she was on her way, she was 2 minutes away. As my brother was leaving at about 3:40 he let me know a lady asked if this was where the birthday party was at and I let him know that was probably the balloon twister. My brother waited on the porch for about 5 minutes to direct her to the house, there was two of them and they were in the car. My brother finally left at 3:47 and I waited at the window to let them in, they didnât get out of their car to walk up until 3:50. My daughters party was over at 4. Some guest had already left. She came in and apologized for being late. Her speech was slurred and she stumbled in the door a little. My guest kept asking me what was wrong with her and stating she seemed intoxicated or high off something. I called the company to file a complaint and spoke with Curtis, he stated he would call her and âget her side of the story.â He then called me back with her on a 3 way (very unprofessional) and it was basically a back and forth argument. She stated she stayed an extra 15minutes and made extra balloons for the kids, which really wasnât extra because had she been on time there would have been more kids. After the back and forth arguing Curtis called me back and stated Iâm making accusations and that he was going to take legal action. He offered me a $25 refund, which was fine but the way he stated he was giving me this refund was rude. He stated âI believe a 20% refund is sufficient enough for being late.â Never once did I receive an apology. He was basically stating I was lying. I would have given this company a 3 maybe 4 star rating if the lady didnât seem intoxicated and if the customer service was up to par. This companyâs customer service is HORRIBLE, donât book them for your entertainment needs!! UPDATE: After posting this review, Curtis called back and stated I will no longer be getting a $25 refund because I posted this review and that he would be filing a lawsuit against me. I explained to him, I am entitled to post and share my opinion and if he wants to file a law suit to go for it!! He called me a liar and my mother got on the phone and explained to him he is handling business very unprofessionally and told my mom âyou raised a liar who is mad she got called out on itâ and he hung up!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!! IF YOUR LOOKING FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

   Read moreEdit this company acts like it isnât in Columbus Ohio where it knows you canât trust the weather 2 days beforehand. They act as if the meteorologist predict correct weather 100% of time. at the time of delivery the chance of thunderstorms for my Sunday party were at 50%. Iâm ok with that. But as I kept checking throughout the day that percentage kept rising ITS NOW 90% throughout the entire party. I get that they dropped off the items. I was more than willing to pack it up and deliver it back myself. But itâs easy to hide behind a âcontractâ when you the owner can have compassion but you choose not to. LIKE I SAID I WILL NOT BE USING YOUR MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY ANYMORE. To prevent things like this happening you should deliver the day of instead of more than 24 hours beforehand.
This place sucks. I donât understand how Iâm getting penalized for them delivering a item more than 24 hours before my daughters scheduled party. Then for them to say I shouldâve told them by Friday at noon. Well Friday at noon the weather wasnât thunderstorms for the duration of the party. So I ask can I use the bounce house in the rain? To their reply of âlight rain is fine but in thunderstorms it must be turned offâ had they attempted to deliver the item the day of we wouldnât even have this issue. Not to mention if something happens to it while it sits deflated in my backyard I will be charged for it.
