Evolved Body Art — Attraction in Columbus

I’ve had a basic design in mind for what I wanted since 2020. I wanted an artist who identified as female with a specialty in color, water color if possible. Charity’s portfolio caught my attention immediately and got me excited for what I wanted.

The consultation with Charity was wonderful. I felt heard and seen when I shared the inspiration for my idea, based off of a poem I wrote during a difficult time in my life. She asked helpful questions to guide us both to a shared interpretation. I sent her the poem and scheduled the tattoo session.

The actual session was an awesome experience. The small studio was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Charity was delightful to talk to as she worked. My twin sister came with me and we both enjoyed the afternoon. Not only is Charity a skilled artist, she told us about her approach to color for people of all skin tones, which she is passionate about.

I’ve got a low pain tolerance and Charity checked how I was doing throughout. We had some breaks for water and snacks. She was done before I knew it.

I can’t put into words for how happy I am with the result! The colors pop and the tattoo has healed exceedingly well as I’m 3 weeks out from the session. I get compliments a lot and I’ll tell anyone to meet with Charity if they want a beautiful piece with well-selected colors that they’ll...

I was referred to Jillian by my DIL for a very special tattoo that I wanted to get in remembrance of my Dad who passed away on Sept. 2021. It was his signature on a letter from 40 years ago that I found while cleaning out my house getting ready to move. I sent Jillian a picture of the letter and made my appointment. She had great communication with me throughout, even when I had to reschedule once. At my appointment, she made me feel so comfortable and was so easy to talk to. I haven't been tattooed yet, but I loved my consult appointment! I arrived a little late due to some traffic issues, but Chris was very kind. He was finishing with a client when I arrived but gave me updates of when he would be free. Once he had finished with his previous client, he pulled up my information and we started talking about all things tattoos. He was clearly knowledgeable and very passionate about tattoos and helped me to feel even more excited and comfortable. He worked with my ideas, asked plenty of questions, talked about price, and worked with me to tweak my design and keep it in a budget i was comfortable with.
