The owner, Marcus, is highly unprofessional and unreliable. I booked a 4-hour session two weeks earlier. On the scheduled date and time, twenty-seven minutes before our appointment, he sent me a DM and text to cancel. I was on my way driving, so I didn't see the text.

I got there, and he told me he texted me to cancel. He said his brother got arrested and that “life happens.” He didn't apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge that I had cleared hours of my work day for this appointment. He was defensive and discourteous. He offered another appointment a week later, only to send me a message a few days later asking if I would reschedule for the time we agreed upon in person.

He claimed he didn't have my information to put me on his calendar, but he sent me an Instagram DM and phone text. He had my name, phone number, email, and Instagram handle.

My information was also in his system when I booked initially. Either he is incompetent, ignorant about scheduling a client on his calendar, or just playing dumb or being egocentric.

I came to Mark about a year and a half ago with 6"x4" cross on my right arm that was about 25 years old. I never really loved it - artist put it a little to low. I had heard how talented Mark was so I just asked him to create over top of what I already had - eventually I wanted a wrap around half sleeve on my upper arm. I got three piercings from Bee on Saturday and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I’ve been to different shops throughout Columbus but now that I’ve found Bee, I won’t be going anywhere else. This shop is such a great vibe, the entire time I had new beautiful paintings to look at covering all of their walls. Bee is such a light and it was a pleasure to work with her on my 3 new pieces. She talked me through everything and remained professional the entire time, at the same time being one of the funniest people I’ve met in a long time!
