Wife and I have been going to fair for years. We were at the fair today having fun, watching the horses, eating and just enjoying the day. Wife brought her service dog Zoey with us and had absolutely no trouble , just tons of comiments and how well behaved and cute Zoey was. Fair grounds is easy to get to from 70, 71, 270 just about any where. The local state highway patrol does great job with parking and traffic flow.

We went to the last day of the State Fair. All of the animals were already gone. I mean every single one. The animals were why we made the 2hr drive to the Fair. If whole buildings and events are not going to be open then why is the Fair still open? Or discount the last day. At the least post signs stating what is closed before we buy tickets and enter.

Visited the Ohio State Fair and had a wonderful time. My niece participated in some of the horse events and they were run very professionally. The fairgrounds were clean and there were so many things to do and eat. We had a great time. We were there for 4 days and can't wait till next year.

We went to see LUDA live and OMG what a show it was😍😍😍 I HAD REPORTED AFTER THE SHOW THAT I WAS TOUCHED RIGHT BELOW MY BREAST 2 TIME'S BY A MALE. HE SAID YOU ARE IN THE WAY AND GOT IN MY FACE NOSE TO NOSE. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY LET THIS MAN TOUCH ME TWO TIME'S & SINGLE ME OUT. OTHER PEOPLE WERE IN THE SAME SPOT DANCING BUT I SOME HOW I WAS A ISSUE. IM GLAD I WAS ABLE TO IGNORE HIM WHEN HE GOT IN MY FACE NOSE TO NOSE. ON TOP OF TOUCHING ME😡 I JUST KEPT DANCING AND SINGING HE WALKED AWAY MAD THAT I DIDN'T GET MAD LIKE HE WAS. THE OHIO STATE FAIR SECURITY AND POLICE/HIGHWAY PATROL DID NOT CARE ONE BIT. I WISH I KNEW IN ADVANCE THAT MALE SECURITY CAN TOUCH WOMANS BREAST FROM THE SIDE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. MY BOYFRIEND WAS THE I ONLY REASON HE LEFT ME ALONE. I WAS SINGLED OUT. THANK YOU LUDACRIS FOR PUTTING ON ONE HELL OF A SHOW BUT PLEASE DONT COME BACK TO THE OHIO STATE FAIR PLEASE🥺! IVE NEVER BEEN TO A SHOW AND BEEN TREATED THE WAY I WAS WHILE I WAS DOING NOTHING WRONG. I WASN'T EVEN SMOKING WEED LIKE THE REST OF THE CROWD🤣 NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND IF YOU WANT TO BE TOUCHED INAPPROPRIATELY BY A MALE THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR YOU. SAD A GROWN MAN GOT IN MY FACE AND TOUCHED ME WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS. I HOPE THE NEXT PERSON HE TOUCHES THEY ACTUALLY CAN GET...

There's something about the Fair that seems to bring out the worst in people - some experiences with food vendors (like the gyros and shaken lemonade vendors) were simply nightmarish. Taking advantage of your hunger and thirst, not only do they provide you with incredibly low-quality products (e.g. 3 huge ladels of sugar went into one $15 cup of lemonade but, alas, the juice of at best only half a lemon made it in) but they also behave incredibly rudely while they do it. That said, the folks at the Schmidt's and hotdog stands were far kinder and respectful, so there's at least some humanity still present. For us, with a 7 year-old in tow, the best parts of the fair were the education hall (e.g. the activities organized by the Scouts) and the Ohio Natural Resources area with the shady trees, relaxing play areas, and thoughtful staff. However, we won't be coming back...
