I booked an appt with Claire Gauntner in loft #16. I got an automated email 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment stating it'd be canceled. There is no way to call her or get ahold of her. I arrived, assuming it'd been some type of mistake. Instead, she was doing another customer's hair and was quite rude when I asked about my scheduled time. She just said "well I tried to message you but the number was wrong. So when you didn't confirm I assumed you wouldn't show up and I just canceled it". There was no apology or alternate explanation, nor was there an offer to do my hair at the scheduled time. Instead she had another customer there.

I have never had to confirm an appointment anywhere to avoid it being canceled right before. This is definitely not normal business practices. She halfheartedly offered to reschedule me for next week but I will take my business elsewhere. After that encounter I wouldn't feel comfortable having her do my hair. She charged my card I had on file $100 today even though I haven't been there since November! Her work was extremely lazy. I went to get my hair done by her a week before my wedding and told her that and she COMPLETELY missed my roots in my FRONT PART. (See pic) She also did not cover all of my hair. Underneath had so many dark areas even though I asked specifically for full coverage. Additionally, the pictures she uses to advertise show blown out and curled hair, but she literally just blew dry my hair with a paddle brush and no styling. I could say this was one of the best hair experiences in my life! I have never ever played with the color of my hair before.(besides the bottoms once but got those cut off) The most that I have done to it is a haircut! This time I went full on and gave my full trust to Leslie Sharp(Loft 22)! She was recommended to me by people i truly trust so I went for it!
