Local delivery!!!!!!!I really thought the new location was going to help this place……. That clearly wasn’t the case!!!!!They consistently have employees that work the evening shift that don’t want to fulfill orders !!!!! I pulled up for a delivery That literally had just came in and was no way that this order has been handed out to another driver as she claimed🧐 well, after getting on the phone with driver support that whole process!!!😑 Drivers support called the store and ask her if she can Fulfill the order and she told them that the order has been already handed out, so I waited outside the store for support to get done Trying to get her to fulfill the order! that she did not want to because she was out chain-smoking in the car with another delivery driver!!!!! When I pulled up, I knew the orders wasn’t going to be ready so I sat there and got my fantasy draft in order for week#2 🤭 so as I’m sitting there, she jumps out the car and says no DoorDash orders I told her I don’t have a DoorDash order! and I simply told her I was here for two totally different orders !! The Papa John’s delivery driver Who was supposed to help her to fulfill orders in the last two hours of closing…. how do I know? Let’s just say I’ve been there done that.!!!! to make a long story short I ended up getting the police called on me I don’t even think I need to explain why let’s just say it was 12:30am in the morning in Clintonville and I’m African-American she called the police on me And told a dispatcher that I threatened one of her delivery drivers and basically that I was acting crazy 🤦🏽‍♂️ I already knew to just stay right there until they got there she really thought if she called police that I would run 🤦🏽‍♂️ that’s not how it works! thank God it was some reasonable officers who responded and they handled the situation right I can’t stress enough how dangerous it can be calling the police for no reason !!!!!!! just completely unacceptable I hope management take the right action all because she did not want to fulfill the customer order!!!!!!!! I can’t make this stuff up 🤦🏽‍♂️ I did return during the afternoon to hopefully speak with a store manager and just so happened. The district manager was there. So I first asked him did he know about the incident that happened late last night he told me he was unaware of it so I showed him the video of his store employee being completely disrespectful !!!! And I believe he handled the situation and he was very respectful and apologize about...

chronically understaffed often with only one employee working in the store. i only ever pickup so delivery information is unknown. the gentleman i’ve most often encountered is moving at a full clip literally the entire time. Is visibly stressed, i don’t want to speak too much on his emotional state because that’s not for me to determine but he’s bookin it. do i think this has an effect on quality? I do. though i don’t put this critique on any employee of this location. That criticism is placed on leadership, franchise owner and/or person making scheduling decisions for prioritizing payroll as one of its primary cost saving measures (presumably) To the credit of the employees i’ve interacted with, they’ve all been courteous and professional and never fail to acknowledge customers as they enter. scheduling one person any time or day of the week is insane and unsustainable. seems like a pretty straightforward solution though. consider daily/weekly sales and volume data and use those findings to staff...

Haven’t ordered Papa Johns in about 2 years, decided to give em another go. Welp, that inflation stuff must’ve had an impact because I can tell the ingredients are worse, and amount of food overall is significantly smaller. We had a promotional deal with my wife’s work so we only paid $15 out it the total $40, but had we paid full price I’d have been absolutely livid. Pizza tasted like a $5 hot and ready from Little Caesar, could easily tell the pie was smaller and was not risen/puffy as it used to be. The garlic sauce was - like watery.. like.. really fluid-like. Used to be top tier, at least a few years ago.. The cheese sticks came with an adorable little to-go container of marinara that obviously wasn’t part of the Papa Johns brand and might’ve been good for 2 cheese sticks.
