The Sleep Center — Attraction in Columbus

I went into this store about five times before I made my purchase. I actually never intended to make a purchase at this store, but changed my mind. My family is in the process of moving out of state and I wanted to leave our old mattress with my parents for their guest room and get a new one for us when we moved. I went into the store to test mattresses so that I could order one online and have it sent directly to our new home out of state. The guys in this store were very understanding and informative. They did not try to push me on anything. They did not fill me with lies to try and get me to question online mattress buying. I chose to buy from them because they gave me a fair price on a nice mattress and I decided that buying it now would ensure that I would have one for my first night in my new home, where as, because time was drawing so near for the move, ordering one might have left me on the floor for at least a few nights. I went into another mattress store in town as well where the salesmen told me lies to sway me against purchasing online and constantly force fed me over-the-top sales pitches for their store while I was testing the products. The guys at the Sleep Center Columbus GA let me test all their beds and didn't bother me unless I had a question. They gave correct information that could all be backed up by my own research. They had a no-pressure sales approach that was genuine and welcoming. They carry fantastic products that are difficult to walk away from with very fair pricing. They delivery team was ABOVE AND BEYOND. My new bed is by far one of the best things I have ever bought....maybe even the best thing. Every time I lay on it I wonder how I wasted all that time with my lumpy old queen sized mattress with unforgiving coils and almost no padding. My new bed is a TEMPUR-PEDIC and I really do love it. I don't think any other mattress I could have bought would fit the bill like this one. Even though I got a deal, this is something I would have paid full price for after sleeping on it. I learned that mattresses are one of those things that you do not buy because it is on sale. You buy it because its the one. If its on sale great, but like a wedding dress, you shouldn't buy it unless you love it enough to pay full price. Thank you Sleep Center for letting me figure that our for myself and being there for me to make the best choice!!...

I know most people come here to write reviews about the mattresses but today I wanted to take time and write a review about the store and the service agents in the store. We went to the store maybe three to five times in the process of trying to figure out which mattress we wanted. Each and every time we went felt more and more like we were dealing with family. There was never any pressure to buy and they were very patient answering all the questions we had. We primarily dealt with Donte for the sale but talked to everyone I think over the course of our visits there and all were awesome. On one of our visits Wry ( sorry if I spelled it wrong) promised my daughter he would have hot dogs for her the next time she came and what do you know. The next time we came, he cooked up hot dogs for my daughter and my son while we were shopping in the store working with Donte. When you are making a purchase like this you not only want to feel good about what you bought, but you also want to feel good about who you buy it from. Even after the purchase one of the discounts from the manufacturer didn't apply to our purchase the way I expected it to and to resolve the issue Wry gave us a credit in the store for the amount of the discount which worked out great to buy new sheets for the beds. Even the delivery guys were awesome and we just had the bed delivered today. Quick courteous clean and didn't leave any thing behind and were more than willing to explain the operation of the bed if needed. I can't say enough good things about Sleep Center of Columbus. If you're in the market to buy a bed, the least you could do is stop by and check them out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. From bed in a box to Tempurpedic they have it all and there's usually something on clearance in the store. So make your next move your best move and go down to the Sleep Center of Columbus. Financed a mattress from here on April 17, 2017 and actually bought 2 balance pillows outright. Was told the mattress was in stock and the pillows had to be ordered and that usually takes 5-7 business days. Called a week later and the pillows were there yet (which is fine...I knew it could take a little longer) so I waited. Called again a couple of weeks later and still no pillows and was told "we will call u when they get here." A couple more weeks go by with no call so I call back once again and got a story about how they guy that did the ordering quit and didn't place the order in his rush to leave. Then later that day the new ordering guy calls me back to let me know that the other guy ordered the stuff with an expired credit card and they don't know why the pillow company didn't let them know sooner that nothing was being shipped for this reason, and that the pillows have been rush ordered and should be here Wednesday (Thursday at the absolute latest). Wednesday comes and goes and I call back Thursday afternoon and the ordering guy says he's "still waiting on the truck". He can tell in my voice that I'm sick of the run around so he apologizes and thanks me for my patience and says he will give me a refund for one of the pillows. (Buy one get on free). Here it is 1.5 weeks since I've last talked to him and STILL NO PILLOWS THAT I SPENT $160 ON!!!!!! I'm planning on riding by there after work tomorrow (hopefully I can make it before they close) and demand a full refund. It's been a month and a half waiting on 2 expensive ass pillows that I probably could have had hand...
