I have been going to 103 for over 8 years and never had an issue until the last month. My membership was just terminated due to one reason only: the manager/instructor Heather Fortman's ego. The owner, Julie, said the reason for my termination was for singing along with the music in class. What's funny is 103 allows other people to do it and especially their instructors. One instructor there sings along, just like me, when he is attending a class but not instructing. He even adds in inappropriate sexual lyrics (which I love, it's super funny and makes the class so much more enjoyable) but he is encouraged for doing so, which is the most hypocritical thing about all of this (there are more instances) and proves that this really is all about Heather's ego that got hurt last Friday with my IG comment about her that was later deleted after gaining some support from members (screenshot below). I was subject to predatory behavior, harassment, emotional distress, and wrongful termination of my membership and I have all the screenshots and occurrences that happened at the studio to prove it. This all got quite alarming 3 days ago when Heather made myself and many others very uncomfortable at the end of one of her classes regarding 'my singing'. Then 2 days ago, Friday 3/28/2025, I commented on an Instagram reel that Heather was in that it is quite comical that she is singing and dancing, but highly discourages it from myself only in her classes. After some members started to 'like' and agree with my comment it was deleted. The girl next to me actually sang a couple songs with me that class and wasn't called out. And she also happened to like my Instagram comment supporting me regarding Heather's very hypocritical reel. You gotta love businesses that keep all of the positive comments, but delete any ones critiquing anything with the business especially anything that could hurt Heather's ego. Within about 6 hours of posting that comment I had Heather's husband, David Fortman, and Amy Stein Gilliland watching my IG stories (evidence pictured below) and lurking on my account and they had never visited my account once previously. Fortman Designs is David Fortman's account, he is the husband of Heather Fortman and someone I have never met so you can see how alarming, predatory, and disturbing that would be to see he's lurking on your Instagram account. And Amy Stein Gilliland is a minority owner that called me a liar twice in a class of 50 people when I told her I've been going to 103 for almost 10 years (I've been there over 8 years) and then she told me I was "socially unaware" as she walked out of the room. The amount of unprofessionalism in this place is seriously appalling. In one of the screenshots below you'll see that I expressed my alarming concerns for my safety & you can see that the message was 'Seen' and they have still not responded to my concerns and they actually blocked me about 10 minutes after that message was sent. I was then sent my membership cancellation email today (Sunday 3/30/2025) for singing. Why would you block someone right after they message you that they are very alarmed and concerned for their safety? This should be any businesses top priority but you have to remember with this place, Heather's ego is the top priority. Sadly 103 has become the most unprofessionally ran studio with a predatory and harassing environment especially with the ego-driven manager, Heather Fortman, who has never once had any type of positive energy coming from her and runs the place & her classes like a prison warden. I only attend her classes once in a blue moon because she teaches like half of the classes there. So if it's the only class I can make that day I would go because I knew there'll at least be some nice people in there with some fun energy to get me through it. I've had over 100 people tell me that they love my energy & singing in class. I am almost at my maximum amount of characters allowed by Google reviews so I’m adding a screenshot below with the rest of my thoughts.

My membership was just terminated because I called out Heather Fortman on her discriminatory, predatory, alarming, and harassing behavior that the owner Julie fully supported and I have screenshots and evidence below to prove it. The owner, Julie, said the reason for my termination was for singing along with the music in class. Julie has spoken with me 1 time EVER (which was about a month ago) about toning it down with the singing and after that class, she said that I did wonderfully. And I have not deviated from that same energy and amount of singing since then. I have been going to 103 for over 8 years and never had an issue until the last month. I went three times this week while in town for a conference. I wish I lived here so I could go every week! 103 is really that good. I did yoga sculpt and HIIT classes, and they were intense, non-stop, and (of course) heated. I got a great workout in and really felt like I accomplished something. The instructors make an effort to learn your name and encourage you during class. I have to shout out Meghan for two particularly brutal sculpts, and Diana for my first heated HIIT which was about as difficult as it sounds. I also have to mention how relieved I was that they didn’t require me to wear a mask during class. I don’t know if I could have done it. That said, the staff and instructors wore masks and at no point was I uncomfortable. Note: I picked 103 out of various other studios because of the numerous positive reviews and the wide variety and availability of classes. There are classes all day long, sometimes even at the same time.

After reading the fantastic reviews from all those who’ve experienced this studio first hand, I’ve decided to tryout this new studio. I was currently at Bikhrum Hot Yoga. I have truly nothing bad to say regarding the friendly and knowledgeable instructors with great locker rooms, but the only draw back I’ve had is the noxious smell of a 1000 different people who have sweat into the main yoga floor carpet. From the pictures here at 103 Vegas Hot Pilates, I can see there’s no carpet flooring in the yoga studio..... smart!! If it wasn’t for the unusual, and offensive smell soaked into the studio carpet, it’s sincerely a AAA+ yoga studio. I’m banking on all the reviews, I’ve read about 103 and just how much this studio is praised for its verve, cleanliness, instructors knowledgeable and experienced, located relatively close to my home, and looking forward to meeting new people, and making lasting friendships with liked minded individuals such as myself. I believe the choice to move my (Hot Yoga & Pilates workouts) to this new beautiful and highly anticipated workouts involving (Pilates) now. I believe my choice to switch studios is in my best interests all the way around. Hope to see you all here. I’ve done every kind of workout known to man, and I have to honestly say (Yoga/Pilates) with the added heat element is by far one of the sincerely toughest, and mindfully motivating workouts I’ve ever done. A transformation of Mind,...
