What a great park. They have baseball diamonds, Bocci Ball courts, Dog parks Disc golf, play grounds etc.
I thought it was such a cool idea that they had a gated smaller dog park for the shy dogs or those in training that they can runn around in. You can begin to train them to listen in a smaller setting and begin to get them to feel comfortable around other people and other dogs. Well thought out. Dog Island was fun to watch all the different dogs with the full-on Zoomies!!!! My face hurts from smiling I swear.
The disc golf course gets my 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. They change the holes regularly, so if you're a local, you won't get too bored. We met some really nice people there, but JP gets all our stars for being so nice and personable. He showed us the course and helped us with the tips of the best lines to throw. What a great guy. Every course should have a JP!There is a creek that runs through the park which can add a extra challenge ( water is pretty murky so have a friend spot you if you can) but it's not too deep in most of the places. Some of the areas you could definitely lose your disc though. Overall this is an all around great park with a little something for everyone. Dog lovers are very welcome and just very happy people in general. Everyone...
Read moreI go here a lot for disc golf like a lot! I love that we have such a large 18-hole disc golf course in the middle of Boise. It really is a special amazing thing
The fact that it's a shared park and multi-use area makes it hard at times, but for the most part the course is well designed enough to be on the outside away from most walking paths and other park goers
This definitely isn't the best disc golf course I've ever played in my life. But I definitely play this course the most because it gives quite a bit of variety for how close it is to my house. Normally parks like this only commit to a little 100 ft. 200 ft courses that are only nine holes which are great and have a good place to helping new players get into the amazing sport of disc golf
I'm so happy that the city of Boise has invested this money and the local clubs have invested the time to make this park happen. I love playing here and probably will...
Read moreThis is my number one and favorite course to play frisbee golf at!! Me, my brothers, and our friends go all the time to play! The course is hard enough to get a good challenge but also simple enough to have fun and throw some discs. I can’t wait to show up again soon and try and beat my record!
The course is always well maintained and clean! There are so many different aspects of the course that make it so special! It can be busy but we have always have been able to play!
Over all the holes are super unique and make for a great game of frisbee golf...
