This store has caused me to lose faith in Apple. Iāve used Apple since the iMacs G3ās, but I can say with confidence I will never purchase another Apple product. I know they have billions of customers & donāt care, but it wonāt stop me from voicing my issue.
On 12/29 I came in due to battery issues on my iPhone X. Most of the month I saw a major decrease in performance. My phone used to go at least 1 or 2 days without a charge, but I saw it was decreasing to half within a matter of hours so I took it into this store.
I talked to a nice lady for about 20 minutes. She diagnosed it and said there was an issue & the battery (especially conserving Appleās dozens of recent battery lawsuits) would be replaced free. āCoolā I thought. I mean, I paid 1000 for it not even 1 year ago so it only makes sense.
She informed me the parts werenāt in store & they would have to order them. I had driven about an 1.5 hours to get there, but totally understood having to order the parts. She also said the diagnostic she ran not only showed battery issues, but also my speaker needed replacing too. I was surprised but was perfectly okay with it. She told me it would be a free of charge repair & not to worry. I walked out of the store happy.
So I waited the 3 days, then get a call informing me the parts had made it. I went back on 01/02 & dropped the phone off. They told me the repair should take about an hour. So I wait the hour & return. They brought the phone out & told me the work on the battery was finished.
The first thing I noticed was āHello/Hola/etcā My heart skipped a beat because I hadnāt backed up my data. I back up everything to iCloud except my photos. So I asked the technician why I needed to go through the setup. She replied āsometimes we wipe the phone when we work on the battery. You should have backed up your data.ā My temper increased, but I stayed calm because of a jaw surgery I had 2 weeks back and didnāt want a relapse. I told her Iād replaced batteries before & never had to wipe it. She said āYour data isnāt our responsibilityā & walked off.
After accepting I had lost my data, I thought to myself well at least the faulty parts were replaced. I returned home & saw my battery had already drained to 70% within the time it took me to get back. I keep a skin on my phone (similar to a screen protector but covers the whole phone). I observed the bottom screws beside the charge port & noticed the body skin had not been removed.
I immediately called the store & informed them of this & talked to a gentleman named Harry. He was apologetic about it. He informed me to come back in & speak to someone & tell them the issue & they would replace the battery.
I woke up the next day & returned. I asked to speak to a manager about the situation & repeated the situation. The guy (not sure but I assume he was the manager) told me they he stands by their work. After pushing him, he admitted they only wiped it & didnāt replace the battery.
I proceeded to tell him Iāve been an Apple user since the 90ās & had never felt deceived like I did. I informed him the only thing that had been accomplished was my lost data & am now stuck with the same faulty battery. He then told me I could have the battery replaced for $60. I told him I was surprised they had stooped to this sort of trickery & my phone was still under warranty, so I either wanted the battery replaced or a full refund. He said sorry, the software says itās fine. I walked out.
Not only will I never set foot here again, but I promise I will never buy another Apple product again in my life. I own a tech company in the city I live in & have been recommending Apple since the early 00s. Iām writing this review on a MacBook Air, but I promise they will never get another penny from me. Iāve attached the receipts to this message. I hope this review helps some people see how Apple has fallen.
Now Iām stuck with a faulty battery & all photos were wiped without a warning.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreYou know if I learned one thing, is that when you see people running away from a place, don't ask questions, just run away... this manager Scott or whatever they call him, he's not the right person to manage or the people or anything, I don't know the criteria of his employer, but I assure you I've never seen a bad and imbued with him, I bought an iPhone 16 pro max, from this store which made me all the bets pro max, 1st week, screen that borders, obliges me If I wanted to force it into iron, I called customer service who told me about software, etc.2nd week, I almost lost my job because the screen turned completely black while the phone was running, I called customer service again, no arrangement, I went to lakeside Apple, they still groped the phone and told me about software, very funny, I told them if every week I had to stay and put my passwords back, resetting etc..on I think I'm going to put the phone back on, something is wrong, I returned the phone back and the customer service sent part of the money into my card and the other part through gift card because I traded my iPhone 13 pro max, she didn't tell me that the gift card is only used in Apple stores and Apple products, I went to buy another phone and they told me not to accept the Apple gift card, I came back into the store, I asked to see the manager, who seems bored because I ask him questions, he nods his head like a spinning top, answers casually and plays smart, I ask him why I have a gift card when they have my phone and why she didn't tell me anything when it was time for repayment? His answers were weird , I'll post the video of their refurbished phone that they sell to people or bad returned phone, but I don't know if it's possible to put video here with this review, thank God I returned this phone over, otherwise I'll be stuck with a useless phone later without the possibility of putting it back on, because you have just 14 days to return it,I love Apple products, proof I've been using a 13 pro max for three years without worries or problems, but this store and its customer service made me hate this brand, I can't have a business and People without any training and humanly bad will manage it, and plays with my investment because I would never allow it, a real manager would have asked me what is wrong and would have convinced me to take their products, we call it marketing, you scare away customers, it's not profit, These are losses, company apple you really have to fire this manager and all the customers services there...or simply put them at some training, because obviously they don't have...

When I purchased it I was under the impression it should be ready more then likely by the time I got off work at 3 on Thursday. Still no email letting me know itās ready I called because going home and coming back would be difficult for me. I spoke to one girl on the phone who told me the computer was there but not checked in yet, she said she would contact the store directly and see what she can do, I waited on hold and then the line got disconnected and no one called back. So I called back a second time spoke to another girl who just said wait for the email basically. Passing the Apple Store is on my way home so I decided to stop in and see if they could do anything for me. When I walked in no one greeted me, however Iām not sure if thatās a thing anymore but I wasnāt sure where to go so I looked for the first Apple employee I saw that wasnāt with a customer. I tried to explain to Layla, she had red hair in a ponytail and Iām pretty sure wasnāt wearing a lanyard because I had to ask someone what her name was, what was going on and she completely dismissed me. She shook her head and her hand before I could even finish the words I had to say. Sheldon then jumped in and said something like ālet me take a look at your order and see whatās going on and if thereās anything I can do for youā I thanked him as much as I could because thatās all I needed. I just wanted someone to look and if they were able to do something great and if not Iāll figure out how to adjust my schedule so I can pick it up a different day. But then he WAS able to get me my computer! He brought me over to Jay who was also lovely, made small talk, helped me and another gentleman at the same time, and then helped me get my new computer to my car! David scanning my things was even nice! Iām very happy everything turned around because after being dismissed by Layla and feeling unsure when I walked in, it made me second guess if I made the right decision investing...
