This experience was the most negative experience and itās not the first time Iāve had a negative experience at South Miami Hospital. I went in for a breast MRI arrived early like they asked me to sat there filled out all the paperwork and then they come and they say Iām sorry but there was an emergency in the emergency room and youāre your appointment will be delayed by one hour. Is that OK with you? And I said well of course I have no choice. Iāll wait. Iām waiting 45 minutes then they send somebody else out to tell me that the doctor that sent that person from emergency is asking for more orders And that Iām now gonna be delayed another two or three hours this is a midday appointment wasted my whole day didnāt even get to have my breast MRI. I was told somebodyās gonna call me to give me an appointment a morning appointment like Iād like I was home the half of the day nobody even called so South Miami Hospital is not what it used to be. Itās really going down. The service is terrible. They really donāt care. Itās like they have no respect for your time that you actually made an appointment. I mean, how do I know that when I go back again now the second time for one appointment that theyāre not gonna pull the same thing and when I read some of the Google reviews, there are a lot of people that have this experience they get an appointment time they come out and say something came from the emergency room. Iām like you know how big this hospital is what are they only have one MRI machine itās ridiculous....

I was asked by Mia to remove my necklaces for the xray and I only took off the one that I could not hold in my mouth. I placed the necklace on my jacket and purse that were on the chair. When I got home I realized that my necklace wasn't in my purse and it had to be on the chair. I called the facility and spoke with Michelle Lopez who said they looked for it and could not find it. I drove back to the facility to see if I could search the room and was not able to. I asked Michelle how many patients were in the same room after me and she said she couldn't tell me. I asked for an investigation to be opened up and Michelle said she will open one and include the police report that I received after reporting it to the Palmetto Bay Police dept. who came to the office. The Police said that and Ms. Lopez will work on reviewing the cameras to see who came in and out with hopes that the see something that will lead to finding my necklace. I am certain that the Technician Mia saw my necklace on the chair when she returned to the room after walking me out. I am devastated and I pray that my necklace is returned. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never post reviews, but I think the public should be aware of what happened to me today. I had schedules 2 ultrasounds today and apparently showed up right at the time for the first one (i was supposed to show up 15 min before my appt) . They took my money and told me to take a seat without telling me I was late in their books. Then 5 min later, they told me to choose one ultrasound. They brought me in to do the ultrasound. I asked if i returned would I be charges again. YES. So I walked out. They failed to tell me that now i need NEW prescriptions, because they activated the scripts my doctor had sent prior to telling me they would not treat me for both ultrasounds. The girl in the front desk was stone cold and indifferent and the ultrasound tech was no better. I guess they were happy to eliminate more work for them. My ultrasound appt was at 9:45. I got there at 9:48. The worst part is the indifference and lack of empathy. Absolutely no effort in resolving an issue. Complete...
