Blueberry Jewelers — Attraction in Paradise

DO NOT TRUST THIS JEWELER! I am LIVID! My husband commissioned Blueberry Jeweler to custom make our wedding set 5 years ago. Which they did. I have very sensitive skin and anything other than gold, silver or titanium will cause my skin to react and either turn green or break out in a rash. Which my finger did within a few hours of wearing my engagement ring. We called and were told it was because there wasn’t a special coating on the band. Which I accepted as true. I’d never had a custom piece of jewelry made, so I trusted them. HUGE mistake. When we added my wedding band, also custom made here, the same thing happened. So I went to the store myself a week or so after our wedding. I was told the same thing, that silver will tarnish without the special coating. Much like pure silver flatware. I asked about adding that coating and was told they could no longer do that since the stones were already set. Again, I accepted this as true. Well, we took my set to a new jeweler to be cleaned and to have my engagement ring and wedding band melted together because they kept pinching my finger. When we went to pick them up, we were informed that our rings are NOT pure silver. There is some silver in them, but they aren’t pure, as we believed and what we purchased and paid for. Now our entire wedding set has to be remade. The new jeweler wouldn’t even try to attach my bands because she didn’t want to risk ruining them when she doesn’t know what they are made of without melting them down and testing them. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. My husband paid over $1,500 for this custom set and other than the stones (which we will also have tested now), it’s worthless. They took our money and lied to our faces. We will never be back and we will tell everyone we know to stay clear of this place....

My grandmother learned I was going to propose to my girlfriend when visiting Las Vegas two weeks ago. She gave me a ring that was from her first marriage with my paternal grandfather. The ring was my paternal grandfathers mothers so my great grandmothers. It had been a jewelry box for 50 years and was missing the main stone. I called Rudy up that day and he said yes I can put one in today come into the shop. When I came in he noticed how old it was. The diamonds were cut an old fashioned way he happened to have one to fit exactly. He said come back in around 6 and it will be done. He calls around 4:30 saying he broke his only diamond of that exact size trying to fit it in. He says he has one slightly bigger he can try. I said do it the cost for the slightly bigger wasn't that much more. Bear in mind too I had to leave on a flight that day so I needed it today. He waited for me until 8:30 at night when I finally came to pick it up. He did a fantastic job! It looks Incredible. His prices were very good. Also he cleaned the ring up to so it looks amazing. I proposed she said yes and we are all very happy.My fiancé loves the ring. Thank you Rudy, your wife sorry I don't remember her name.. You two really do a Fantastic and honest job.

I have been to Blueberry Jewelers two times and both visits have been fantastic experiences.

On my first visit I needed to have my mother's engagement ring cleaned so I could propose to my now fiancée. Not only did they polish this ring to perfection, but they also replaced the prongs holding the diamond in place with an exact matching gold. This ring is nearly 30 years old and may not be the best, but as an heirloom it is priceless to me and my family. Blueberry Jewelers treated it as such.

My second visit constituted polishing the same engagement ring as before, but also included increasing what will be my wedding band by 1.5 sizes. This wedding band was my grandfather's and was given to him in 1962 by my grandmother. It was engraved on the inside and it was very important to me that this remains intact along with the ornamentation on the rim. Not only does the ring fit perfectly, but the engraving is exactly as it was in 1962. The color matches exactly and I can not even tell where gold was added. All of this was completed in ONE DAY.
