Boeing recently restarted these tours (early Oct 2023), but I recommend staying away until they develop something better. I'm a serious aircraft nerd, but was disappointed and left wanting much more. The tour starts with a flashy 10-min. video covering the company's history, then you're bussed over to the factory. But it's not really a "tour," it's more factory "observance." They've built an observation deck between two of the assembly bays, and you get to look down on the factory floor while they explain what's going on. That's it. You don't get anywhere near any of the actual work on the factory floor, so you cannot appreciate the size of these planes or the scale of what they're doing. On the way back (to the gift shop, of course), you drive through a parking lot of aircraft parts awaiting assembly, and they call out a few bits and pieces here and there, but you still don't get any sense of the process by which things come together.

The current tour structure might be great for a family with kids who just have a casual interest in aircraft, but if you're looking for a deep dive, this is definitely not it. Would love to see them create a $125 "Aircraft Geek" tour where they actually take you to the factory floor, and you get to walk the assembly line and see the processes up close. As the tour stands now, you can see the same thing without going by just googling "Boeing Everett Assembly" and clicking the images tab.
