Based on the reviews I was excited to leave my car here for the Sedan package. I made the appt online with the times they had available. I called to verify that a deposit was not needed (website states it's required). At that time they asked if I could drop it off earlier, I could not. When I dropped it off the guy was nice. I pointed out a couple dings on my car & he told me "no problem, I have a guy. No mark up". I had a light tint precut set that I wanted installed & asked if they could do it, they said yes. I showed him where they go & told him I would pay extra. Their website says that this service takes 2 days. I dropped my car off on Friday at 2pm and originally was to pick it up on Sunday. When I reached out Sunday afternoon, they said 8pm. It sounded like they needed more time so I said I could wait & pick it up Monday afternoon. On pick up, first thing I noticed was that none of my light vinyl was installed. The gal casually hands them to me & said "OH, I was just handed these a few minutes ago, sorry". I looked at my car. Still a few superficial scratches. The front end looked bad with white marks all over my red & black bumper. I was unhappy so she got a guy who worked there to talk to me. He looked and said " I didn't work on this car but it looks like the compound is stuck in the dings". I told him I wanted it removed & my car didn't have white spots on it when I brought it in. I pointed out the dings that still looked the same & was explained that they outsource that and he didn't think they contacted him for my car! FRUSTRATING. They kept my car an additional day & I picked it up Tuesday. The compound was out of the bumper dings but I still had several white spots on the body that I've never seen while hand washing my car. I let them know I was unhappy and they asked me what discount was reasonable via text. I was so mad about my car I couldn't think straight. I had hoped they would do the right thing knowing how unhappy I was with the end result but I received my invoice for the full $800. I won't take my business here again. Still never received a quote for my paint dings or any explanation why they told me they would install my vinyl & didn't. HIGHLY...
Read moreI'm a relatively longtime customer of Travis and the folks at Mukilteo House of Wax. From the first time they worked on one of my cars (a 2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen - a well loved car) they have been absolute vehicle detail artists while being extremely customer centric.
This review specifically is for the work they did on my new (to me) 2015 Audi Q5 TDI. A very cool car if you know what it is and like them, but it was evident to me that the prior owners parked it outside full time and washed it when it rained, if you catch my drift. The paint was in ROUGH shape when I bought it - it felt like sandpaper. I attempted to claybar and detail it myself which helped a bit, but I was in way over my head.
I texted with Travis, sent him a couple photos, and he made an exceedingly reasonable offer to do a full detail, but focus on the exterior and do a mild paint correction along with a 1 year ceramic coat, since it lives outside. He came that day and picked it up from my house and brought it back a few days later in almost brand new condition - impressive for a 9 year old car and the short time he had it. What's more, he pointed out to me where the car had had paint work done using a paint meter (all of which was disclosed) and gave me advice on maintaining the ceramic coat between full details.
Mukilteo House of Wax works magic on the most exotic vehicles - but also can make even the most neglected of older cars look like new and treat that customer like they matter, not like they are doing you a favor.
As always,...

After purchasing my "new" (used) black car, I knew I was going to need to do something extra to keep it looking nice. However, I know virtually nothing about cars, so I did some research and settled on Mukilteo HOW. I'm so glad I did! From day one, Travis (the owner) has been nothing but helpful and kind. He enthusiastically answered all the questions I had in the beginning and never pressured me into purchasing anything I didn't want to. I decided on doing a protective film and ceramic coating. While I don't have one of those luxurious cars that make your head turn, my car is of value to me and want it to last! That said, I have always felt like my car (and me) are just as important to everyone at Mukilteo HOW. These guys go above and beyond in every way. They do a fabulous job and will make sure that you leave with an end result you're happy with. They truly go out of their way for their customers. Because I know that they treat my car with respect and do things the right way, I continue to bring my car here for a multitude of their offered services. I really would, and do, recommend Mukilteo House of Wax...
