Looking for some affordable family fun? Check out @officialboomersparks! We went to Boomers in Modesto the other day and had a great time 😁 They have a ton of different attractions you can easily sink hours into. · Miniature Golf · Spin Zone Bumper Cars · Thunder Road Go-Karts · Lil’ Thunder Rookie Go-Karts (For the kids) · Lazer Tag · Bumper Boats · Flame Thrower · Arcade · Batting Cages GO KART PRO TIP!!! I noticed some Go-Karts are much faster than others! Spend a race observing the karts and see which ones quickly pass up other rides. Those will likely be the faster karts! If you want more speed, note down the number of the faster karts, and try to get them for your race 😉 As of this writing, you can get an Elite pass on sale for $36.99 when you buy it online, which gives you unlimited attractions plus 50 arcade credits. I don’t think it includes the batting cages, though. Have you been to Boomers for a family fun day? How was your experience? . . . . . . . . . . . #modestoca #modestcalifornia #boomersmodesto #boomersparks

Boomers in Modesto is pretty fun for a family outing! First thing’s first— buy your tickets online before you come. It saves a ton of money and time in line. Once you have your wristbands and your cards, make sure to take a picture of the back of the card. That way, if you lose them the staff will give you another one for free. Once you’ve done that, you’re good to go! My family and I went on a Friday night in February. The place wasn’t very busy, so our longest wait time for the go-karts was only race, which was really great. They also have Mini Golf, an Arcade, Bumper Cars, and a few other amenities to try. My kids really only wanted to race and play games— which was fine with me. The place, including the bathrooms, was clean. The staff was helpful, including the security guard. All of the patrons seemed to be on their best behavior— which is great. If you’re interested in eating and drinking, you should know that like any amusement park or place like this, the prices are extremely high. We did get a couple of beers and a couple of orders of pretzels and it was over $50. As long as you know that going in, I feel like it’s ok. We stayed for a total of two and a half hours, then we went to an In-N-Out Burger that was less than a mile away. Overall, Boomers is definitely worth the trip every once in a while! Make sure to pick a good, not crowded day!!!

Decided to visit because it was right across the street from our hotel. The first thing you realize is that the inside/arcade is VERY small. There's also an old stale smell in the air which smells like the inside of a Chuck E. Cheese playpen. The newly redone cafe area is very nice. Prices are a bit steep though. A hot dog and fries combo was almost $9 and it literally came with 16 fries (see attached picture). Adding chilli amd cheese adds an additional $2.50. They serve alcohol but I don't believe the liquor license extends to outside so you can't take you drinks with you when you play mini golf for example. I was here about an hour and never approached by any staff, even when standing right in front of the counter. The attractions looked outdated and no taken care of. The bumber boats paint is faded and peeling like they haven't been cleaned and polished in years. The laser tag arena is very small compared to countless other ones I've been too. Arcade prices are on a points based system which makes it hard to track how much money you're actually spending. You can purchase 10 points for $1 and then skee-ball costs 6 points. The points system seems to be at random as well. Skee-ball 6 points but "down the clown" 15 points. I wouldn't recommend spending money here unless you were just out of options and needed somewhere to take the kids to wear them out for an hour.

We purchased the weekday pass [$10 arcade] and end of school year promo [two passes]. Unlimited attractions, minus batting cage and arcade. Go kart was nice right when they first open. It gets hot throughout the day. Gas go kart does release black particles. Wear a mask and you may need to wash your face after. Bumper boats, bumper cars, flame thrower and golf were all part of the attractions. Only downside was the Rockwall was taken out and you have to call someone for the attractions every time. Food prices are pretty high. A regular mini melt [dip N dot] was $9.29, a regular ICEE was $6.99 [which seemed small], funnel cake fries[chocolate or strawberry toppings] was okay, a little soft. Overall, my family had a good time. It'd be nice if there were more attractions.

This place was fun overall. However the efficiency could have been worked a little better to enable shorter wait times ar the attractions. Like having a the go carts running so they can have two heats. While one is running the others could be getting set up. It will also be a lot more fun when the arcade is back up and running. The food bar could have been ran a little more efficiently as well, if they had bar POS system running so they could have had 3 registers going. One line could have just been for drinks and or refills. Just a few suggestions. Other than that this was the highlight of our weekend in Modesto. I am glad you all were able to open and maintain covid restrictions.
