Candy Kitchen — Attraction in Ocean City

We were out at the beach and wanted to treat each of our three kids to some candy when we got back. This was on our way, so it was perfect. I decided not to mess with getting my wheelchair out (I was tired, but there was plenty of Handycapable parking).

Instead, I had my husband call me from inside the store and tell me what he saw. The shop was pretty empty at the time, and so the manager was very kind and patient. I was able to guide Hubs to just the right treat for each kid because of the store's layout, great merchandising, and cleanliness.

He really wasn't even in that long, didn't spend altogether too much... and yes, the kids loved what...

I've loved Cany Kitchen since I was a kid. It was one of the musts whenever we visited Ocean City. I was able to share this with my son this past summer. The store was clean and organized. From the time the kids walked into the store the were the definition of "kid in a candy store." I can say they tried to grab enough goodies to satisfy them for quite some time. Had to wait for service as staff was busy talking to each other for an extended period of time. Was informed not able to buy less than 1/4 of a lb of items sold by weight. Employee acted like I should have known that my order was less than that when scale was behind counter and unseen by customers. You are no longer able to buy individual pieces of chocolates although you could last month. Taffy now comes prepackaged; you can't select the flavors you want. Not a good...
