Initially, I came to this location to get a jewelry appraisal done. I had called months and months ago and they did appraisals at that point in time, but no longer did when I finally did manage to get myself there. Upon walking in, the store’s layout was very well done. The placement of everything, showcases to lighting, was done in such a way that everything was highlighted without the entire store being too bright. Everything sparkled and glittered, and I said, well hey, while I’m here let me look around. They hooked me. The staff there are very pleasant and professional. They were still willing to try to help me despite no longer doing on site appraisals. They offered to take a look at what I had and made a few recommendations as to where I could go and how to go about getting appraisals for certain pieces rather than all of them. I thought it was an overall fee, but they told me appraisals can be charged per piece. Afterwards, we looked around at some jewelry and all the pieces there were beautiful and fairly priced. The two sales associates who helped us were wonderful. There were a few other people who we talked too and they were also great, not to detract from them, but the two we ended up dealing with most are the ones I will be speaking on today. Tina Sindatt and Greg Blatt (let me note that it was his second day there) were so patient with us. We looked at several chains and they educated us, gave their honest opinions on what looked good and what would work with our purposes, and even worked out a great deal for us as well. When I say they’ve patient, I mean they were absolute saints. We were extremely indecisive and on the fence about several pieces, going back and forth about what we wanted to see and try on, and they muscled through it all. We had such a pleasant experience there. If I could shop there like it was Target (in terms of practical affordability), I would come back all the time based on that sole first experience. You guys have two very good employees there who not only represent the company well, but are worth their salt in experience, knowledge, and personability (not sure if that’s even a word, but you get it). In a time where people are often quick to complain, this location and these two individuals deserve all the recognition.
*I was well overdue on this review. We came in 1-2 months ago, and I meant to do it immediately after leaving this store, but it slipped my...

I began my journey searching for the best engagement/proposal ring a little over a month ago. Being that this is my first time going through a process like this, I brought along my mother to help assist me in this endeavor, and to also provide a female's perspective on the potential ring. We scheduled an appointment, and thankfully we were partnered with Mona, THE BEST associate they have to offer at this specific location. From the beginning, she was very informative on how the decision-making process usually goes when picking a diamond for any occasion. She was very comfortable with explaining, in detail, the importance of each diamond element (the carat, clarity, color, & cut) and how weighing each category subjectively can provide you with the diamond you are dreaming of buying. With me, being a novice in this aspect, I felt very comfortable asking her my questions, and her responses were delivered very well. When it came to deciding on which style of ring and how many diamonds I wanted, she showed complete devotion of her time and energy towards me getting exactly what I wanted, which I really appreciated. That type of service is RARE, so to receive that type of guidance and dedication in order to fulfill my dream ring scenario was a blessing that I am truly grateful for!!
Aside from that, she was very personable and easy to talk to. A lot of times in the sales field, you sometimes come across sales associates who are overly aggressive and make you feel like just a customer instead of an actual person. This was not the case with Mona. She took the time to hear the vision that I wanted for the ring, and then she transformed that vision into a reality, of which I will be forever grateful!!
Lastly, when it was time for me to see the finished product and pick up the ring, she was doing everything possible to make sure that the end result was what I had conjured up when I first began this process (which of course it was!!). All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed Mona's guidance and energy throughout the process and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her services to anyone seeking to buy jewelry from Tyson's...
Read moreIf you’d like jewelry that lasts a life time, decent customer service or communication…you should walk away now. 6 years after we bought my husbands wedding band it split in half. Very long story short it took us 5 months and countless calls to get a replacement ring, which is not equivalent to the original piece. We were very upset at the poor quality and when the ring broke we went back to diamonds direct to take advantage of their “lifetime guarantee”. We dealt with Ray, who never called us at a given time without us first calling him. He never stuck to a communication timeline. He explained that this ring was made by a vendor (Novell) and it was difficult to get the vendor to commit to a timeline. We were not allowed to speak to the vendor. Diamonds direct should not stock jewelry made by a 3rd party that won’t communicate or that’s subpar. After initially fixing the ring it broke again a few months later!!!! Ray was surprised that we returned again with the same break. More fruitless visits to the store and unreturned phone calls…today after months of waiting we got the replacement. There were multiple miscommunications that led us to believe we could keep the original band ( for obvious sentimental reasons). Today at pick up after a long conversation with the GM he explained this was not (and never) the case but he would allow us to keep it at the store’s expense only after my husband expressed (extensively) his frustrations. The replacement is smaller than the original.
So we have been cheated out of what we paid for. I cannot express how low rent this experience was. Everything was tedious and they have no knowledge of customer experience- they certainly do not care or understand the sentimental value attached to lifetime pieces of jewelry. To make matters worse replacing the ring with something of lower quality is just underhanded and cheap. Disgusting behavior and not at all what you want associated with your wedding jewelry so go else where, this lot...
