I brought my daughter to Everlandplay several times in the last few month. Each time we visited,we were asked to fill out the liability disclaimer form with our personal information, to include child's full name and address, as the staff could not locate us in their computer database.. On our last visit on February 25,2018, the clerk could not locate our information again, and again, for about seventh time asked us to fill out a new form. As this issue is repetitive and consistent with our each visit I became concerned about how our personal information is maintained and safeguarded. In this time and age, when even minors are subject to identity theft and often times a kidnapping, having our personal information floating around with no apparent security measures in place is a serious concern for parents. When I finally asked how is this information maintained by Everlandplay, how the records are stored and maintained, the clerk could not answer these questions and insisted that we fill out a new form, stating that it is for safety reasons! While the form is purely a liability disclaimer that states that Everlandplay assumes no responsibility for safety of children! When I declined, she spoke with a manager and at last denied us entry. The clerk declined to provide her name motivating this with the fact that since we would not provide our information she will not provide hers! What is more disturbing, is while we waited, many patrons were admitted without being asked their names or telephone numbers and were simply let in upon paying admission charge, this demonstrates an obvious discrimination to me and my daughter, who stood there all this time confused and in tears, she kept asking me why everybody were allowed to come in and play and she was not, is it because she did not speak English? Attempts to reach upper management failed with my calls never returned or being hang up on by the staff. Needless to say, we left to never return to this business and went across the street to an Indoor Playground with courteous personnel and safety policies centered on child's wellbeing. Also, I will be filing a complaint with appropriate Consumer Protection Offices, to include FTC, CFPB and BBB as well as registering a Civil Action suit through...
Read morePrivate party disaster. We have been going to Everland play for years! I have hosted 3 parties (2 private parties and one regular) this last private party (11-8-15) was just awful everything that could have gone wrong did. The staff was late to opening the store. The party was scheduled to start at 10am staff was scheduled to be there by 9:30 and did not get there till 10am. Everything was running behind. Pizza was running late so everything was pushed back. The staff started to take down my daughters party when she was still doing cake bc they needed to set up for another party. Not my problem you where late and pizza was late. The staff is supposed to handle setting up and taking down. They did not set up our party all the way my husband and I had to do some of it (bc they where busy playing catch up and getting balloons ready for another party after mine) the mangers on duty never came and apologized for any of the issues. We ended up having to load up everything (once again bc they where too busy) there private parties start at $597.00 for the weekends. I expect for that kind of money that they have there stuff together. We have spoken with the owner he has guaranteed that if we have another party there everything will go as planned and has apologized for everything. Still waiting (2018) for him to make it right.. Would have been nice if he would have offered us a discount or refunded some of our money since everything went wrong. I feel as though I missed out on everything at the party bc I was running around trying to get everything done since the stuff was to busy. We only had one amazing staff member and he really stepped up and tried to do all he could to help us so thank you Nick... He was the only staff member on time, but does not have a key and went above and beyond him self...
Read moreFor starters the pictures are a big scam. One of them shows an easel and chairs and brand new looking toys, but when you get there the area the picture was taken at is now an arcade area. The toys they did have were old and dingy and most were broken. As my kids were playing I did notice that there were stink bugs scattered around the place and there were crumbs in the crevices of the tables as well as throughout the whole place. The whole place does look a bit rinky dink with all the duck tape and torn netting and the faded out puzzle mats. The inflatables are just terrible. They are faded and falling apart! Most of the coloring is rubbing off and the seams are coming undone and lose! One of the newer looking inflatables even had a hole covered with duct tape! I did come on a slower day but it was super busy and the staff was very overwhelmed and did not give quality service. Overall the whole place is poorly maintenanced from a mothers view with the duck tape and torn netting and crumbs. My friends recommended this place so highly and even the reviews i read made me have high expectations. The prices were just right but you get what you pay for, a rinky dink unsafe experience...
