Today I had a chair massage for 40 minutes and it was so painful. I told him to give me a painless massage, but he didn't care and continued to massage painful. After the massage, I paid with a credit card, but the employee complained about the small TIP and threw my credit card on the floor. He immediately apologized to me, but I was still angry. And the reason I gave him a little TIP was because the service wasn't good. Also, I will never ever get a massage here again. ---â---â---------------------------------- Three years later, Today(8/8/2024) I went back to Total Health Massage at the Mall of Georgia for a 60-minute chair massage. As the massage started, the staff member asked if the pressure was okay, and I replied that it would be better if it were stronger. She then applied more pressure. While continuing the chair massage, she suddenly asked if I wanted a deep tissue massage, and I said yes. She continued with the chair massage, but shortly after, she asked if I would like to move to a room for the massage. I agreed, and after she guided me to a room, I continued the massage there. After the massage, when I went to the counter to pay, I was told that the cost for a 60-minute chair massage was $68 if paid in cash and $70 if paid by card. However, my bill suddenly came to $72. I was very upset because I had requested a 60-minute chair massage from the beginning, but the staff member had moved me to a room and then charged me extra. Because of this, I didn't want to leave a tip, but I felt I should leave something, so I paid by card and left a small tip. The staff then insisted that tips should be 20-25%, which I argued against. I had to pick up my daughter from after-school care, so I left the shop, and I felt like the staff were speaking negatively about me in Chinese. The service and tipping policies at this place havenât changed in three years; itâs still unfriendly and insists on tips. I will definitely not return. I hope anyone reading this reconsider visiting this place and avoid wasting money at this massage shop. I do not recommend it. For reference, I am not overweight, but my stomach is slightly protruding. Because of this, the staff member told me that pregnant women cannot receive massages, and I replied that I was not pregnant. However, she asked the same question three times, and I felt very uncomfortable. It felt like my body shape was being judged. I really do not want to recommend this...
Read moreI recently visited this spa after finding it through the wellness spa website since we receieved a gift card. I booked a massage for my mom and me, and we received a confirmation text. Unfortunately, everything went downhill the moment we arrived.
First, the place was disorganized. It was clear they had no idea we were coming or what kind of massage we had booked. We had reserved a foot massage with a 20-minute head, neck, and arm massage, and at other locations, we've always stayed in the foot massage chairs the entire time. Here, however, they initially tried to seat us in chairs right by the large windows where people were constantly walking by in the mall. I explained that, due to recent surgery, I couldn't lean on my chest like that, so they finally moved us to the back.
However, once we got to the new area, the atmosphere felt more like a hospital room than a spa. There was a loud, repetitive beeping sound every few seconds. When I asked if it could be turned off, they just apologized. At that point, it was clear this was not going to be the relaxing foot massage that was advertised online, so we decided to leave.
Things only got stranger after that. We told the staff we'd come back another time, but suddenly a man started trying to usher us into a room for a back massage, even though that wasn't what we had asked for at any point. As I was walking out, the woman actually grabbed my hand and tried to pull me back into the store. Honestly, the whole situation was bizarre and a little unsettling.
There was not a single other customer there on a Saturday afternoon, and after this experience, I can completely understand why. I wonât be returning, and I wouldnât recommend this...
Read moreI would not recommend getting a massage at this massage shop as I have not been satisfied with the service I have received here in the past. I do not recommend this place to other customers. Hope you don't waste your time and money. **This review is a summary of my "twice experience" in the past. **My first experience was the 40 minute chair massage. The massage was so painful, so I asked for a painless massage, and he didn't care and continued to give me a painful massage. And I got a massage and paid with a credit card, but threw the credit card on the floor saying the tip was low. I immediately asked him, âDid you just throw my card?â And he immediately apologized to me. But I'm still angry. And the reason I gave him a small tip was because of the poor service.
And the "second experience"was me and my daughter getting a chair massage. We got a 40 minute massage and paid in cash, but they said I had to pay $100. However, the total amount was $96 in cash, but after removing the price tag and getting the massage, they asked me to pay $100. But when I asked again, he said $96 was correct for cash. This alone made me feel bad. And they always ask for a tip of 20% or more. But I already felt bad. And it seemed like they were swearing in their language I couldn't understand. So I didn't tip as much as they wanted. I didn't want to get a massage here because I was in a bad mood the other day, but I thought the service and attitude would have changed, so I got a chair massage again, but I was disappointed again. It's a place I wouldn't recommend to others. "Customers who will read this, after reading my review, I hope you won't waste your time and...
