far better than alamo drafthouse! the seats recline really far back and are really comfortable. i like that the servers have their own little platform thing to move through so you’re not constantly seeing heads obstructing your view. went to go see superbad and it was awesome! very pleased with the price of the ticket and the auditorium! clean and the tray tables are cool! they slide forward so they aren’t in your way or your neighbors way!
the one thing imma bring up, which is the same as alamo drafthouse, is the 18% gratuity. now i get the reason because we are being provided with a deluxe movie going experience. i just don’t think it’s ideal to ask for a tip after paying a lot of money for food and adding the 18% gratuity fee to then ask for a tip. i feel too guilty to not tip.
i got a popcorn, the loaded fries, and a lucha libre draft beer! the popcorn is probably the best popcorn i’ve had from a theater, doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth and the oil doesn’t upset your stomach. it actually tastes like butter instead of oil.
the loaded fries were a bit of a disappointment to me. it came with a decent amount, don’t let the size of the bowl fool you. i think there was way too much sour cream and jalapeños in there to the point to where it got super soggy quick and really spicy from the jalapeños. i suggest that they use some sort of piping bag or squeeze/pump thing to where it’s just lines or “drizzle” of sour cream instead of covering pretty much the entire top and inside with sour cream.
the beer was great! no complaints other than wish it was dressed with more salt but not a deal breaker at all.
altogether a really awesome experience! i drove 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back home to watch superbad and left after having some pretty good drinks, food, and excellent service. quick shoutout to my server aidan that was so helpful explaining to me how it works and letting me know about the gratuity before hand. think that’s very important to tell the customer so they can be mindful about what to get and that way there isn’t any kind of hassle when the check comes.
will definitely be coming here again for some of their flix picks! love that they screen older films that i never got the chance to experience...
Read moreLovely place. Our first time here was great! Beer plus James Bond. Our second time here, not sure what happened, but we ordered our food online and everything came late and in phases. We got our drinks last…so far into the movie that I had to call them to remind them. But my family was impressed with the theatre itself and said, “it was luxury..” and hearing that from a 10 year old child means money was well-worth spent ( he was also the one who got his food and drinks all at once and first so he had the better experience). Maybe ordering online isn’t the best for the best experience. Better luck next time so I can push it to 5 stars. I like that this theater lets you order military/veteran seats ahead of time so you don’t have to deal with the hassle at the theatre. That is the only comparison to Alamo Drafthouse. I love Drafthouse but it doesn’t have that feature when ordering tickets online.
Update: I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve been a a member for two years, but every time I go here now, I get canker sores in my mouth the next day and a sore throat. I think they aren’t handling the food with clean hands. I got sick the last time I went there, was shaking violently with a high fever, and ended up going to the ER. It would be nice if the food service people and servers wore masks. Breathing over our food is offensive. You should require your employees to get their flu and Covid shots every season otherwise they can’t get a shift until they do.
Their coffee isn’t brewed correctly in the French Press. You put the boiling water in the French press. You put 1 tablespoon of coffee per cup of water in the water. You push the catch to the middle and serve it to your customers. Your customers should let it sit for a bit to “brew.” Then they push it down when they are ready to drink it. They could even plunge it a little to mix the flavors of the grounds into the water. The coffee should be hot, not every room temperature. You should never pour drip made coffee into a French Press as an illusion. Remember that beer snobs are also...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flix Brewhouse continues to impress me every single time I go — it’s truly a 5-star movie experience!
From the moment you walk in, the service is top-tier. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and consistently attentive. Whether it’s taking your order right from your seat or bringing your food out quickly, they really go above and beyond to make your experience smooth and enjoyable.
The atmosphere is unbeatable — super clean theaters, cozy reclining chairs, and the perfect movie-watching temperature. It’s never too cold or too hot — just right. Plus, they totally support comfort culture… you can bring your favorite movie blanket, kick back, and feel right at home.
Let’s talk about the food — because this is not your average movie theater snack bar. Flix Brewhouse has a full menu of scratch-made food, all cooked fresh in their on-site kitchen. From appetizers to full entrees, everything I’ve tried has been flavorful and made with care. And yes — they have bottomless popcorn, which is always hot, buttery, and delicious.
Their drink selection is next-level too. Whether you’re into craft beer brewed on-site, signature cocktails, or just a great fountain drink or milkshake, there’s something for everyone. I especially love how the menu changes seasonally, so there’s always something new to try.
It’s also a very family-friendly environment, which I appreciate. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, family outing, or even a solo movie with full comfort and service.
Add in fun events like brunch screenings, retro classics, and new releases, plus a solid rewards program that gives you perks just for coming back — and you’ve got a theater that does it all.
If you haven’t been to Flix Brewhouse yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place sets the gold standard for what a movie night should...
