I loves James Avery, the only problem I had at this location was the customer service. A girl named Alexis who was our cashier just had the most unwelcoming service ever. It was my parents anniversary and my father went here to buy a gift. When my father was telling the young woman about his anniversary and what he was looking around for, just making casual conversation, all she had to say was âoh.â If someone is telling you that theyâre celebrating their 27th anniversary & theyâre so excited and your only response is âohâ?! Thatâs just rude. My dad also had plenty of questions to ask about the chain of the necklaces that he was looking into and how it clasps, the length, etc, and the young lady was the least helpful. She had no enthusiasm whatsoever. When my dad is coming into a store where he thinks the jewelry would make a great gift for a special occasion and he receives this type of service from a place heâs buying from is just beyond me. Itâs not difficult to put a smile on and engage in conversation, donât have any attitude and try not to look so annoyed if he asks a few questions because he genuinely doesnât know his way around jewelry. Again, we love James Avery but the customer service was just...
Read moreI was disappointed with my recent experience at the Alamo Ranch location. I have been a satisfied customer for years and have never had issues when a charm has fallen off and needs to be reattached. This time the complete loop that is attached to the charm, not the loop that hangs from the bracelet, broke completely open. The lady said is was wear and tear, which I check all the other ones I have on the bracelet, none of them look like that. She said there was a $27 charge. I asked her why, if itâs more of a craftsman issue. She said she has nothing to do with that. She just charges and sends it o Kerrville to be fixed. That answer really surprised me. No âIâm sorry for the issue, let me see what I can do?â I even told her, âyou are keeping my extra silver loop, yet still charging me to fix it.â She just looked at me like are you going to fix it or not. Very sad that some people get these kinds of attitudes. I understand you are doing a job but you can be a little ore approachable in your customer service. I picked up my bracket and took it to the location at The Shops at the Dove, I absolutely love that location. Friendly,...
Read moreFirst and foremost, Madyson was great and provided excellent service. My issue was with the pickup process. I had an online order so I headed to the ONLINE PICK-UP line as indicated in my confirmation (as Iâve done multiple times in the past). When I got in line behind the online pick-up sign, I was approached by an associate who indicated there was only one line. I questioned whether that also applied to online orders and she said yes. This makes absolutely no sense and completely defeats the purpose of purchasing online. Typically when someone purchases online and picks up in store, itâs to avoid the line!! Pretty much all other registers were open for in store shoppers so why couldnât the one line designated for online pickup be used as such? Itâs peak shopping season and people are using the online option as a matter of convenience only for the store to turn around and inconvenience...
