I did enjoy my coffee. This is my 3rd try. My last as well. The first time, I was charged correctly but given the wrong order. I had to turn around and get it corrected which defeated the whole purpose of me going through drive through. But, it cam happen and they did graciously correct it. Next time that I went, drive through was down and, yet again, my order was incorrect. They fixed it but again took more time and this time it was a little less gracious....more like it was my fault. This time, I went through drive through, was told they would have my total at the window. No big deal. I paid them when after my card is given back I'm asked if I want to leave a tip for "my barrista"? I was thrown off bc everybody wants a tip for doing their job. Not for extra service or excellent service. This was AFTER, I was charged. I wasn't asked for my card back just asked. I smh and told her to round it up. She thanked me. Didn't ask me if I wanted my receipt. What really gets me is that my breakfast sandwich was ice cold in the center. I had ordered 2. One for me and one for my daughter. Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't even get basic service. I didn't have time to go back. I just...
Read moreCame to the drive through here in father's day at around noon. When we got there the lady on the microphone was very polite and pleasent. She showed the same demeanor when we got to the window. However after paying, she asked if I wanted to leave a tip to which I responded no. After that her entire attitude completely changed. She didn't say another word to us and practically threw the drink out the window at us. She also had an apparent look of disgust in her face for me not giving her a tip.
I honestly find it repulsive that someone who gets paid an hourly wage has an expectation to be tipped. Im even more disgusted that the company likely encourages employees to ask for tips. Sorry but standing in a window talking on a microphone and taking credit cards all day doesn't warrant tips. This is called doing the job that you signed up to do, for a hourly rate that contractually agreed upon with your employer to do. If this is the attitude that employees will have over not being tipped then they should be trained on proper...
Read moreLive Oak and Little Bourne are my go-to locations, but this morning, I stopped by this one since it was near my patient. I ordered a coffee as usual, and as a nurse, I’ve been receiving the first responder discount for over two months since switching from Starbucks to BRCC. However, the manager told me they stopped offering the discount to nurses a year ago—which was surprising since I come in daily and have never had an issue before.
Her attitude was rude from start to finish, which was off-putting, especially when I mentioned that I had received the discount just yesterday afternoon. It’s not about the discount itself—I could care less—but the way it was handled and the attitude behind it. Unfortunately, this experience ruined my morning, and I won’t be coming back to this location during my usual early...
