I have always loved this location and have been going to it for YEARS now. But recently, the customer service is just not...there? A family member went in with some friends the other day and I was told one of the employees walked up to them and said "can y'all even afford anything here?". That is seriously disrespectful. I am very angered by this.
The other time, I went in later in the day and was asking about perfume. I then just stood there for another 30 mins after the woman I was talking to turned around and walked away (I really wanted to purchase a travel size perfume!). I just quietly left.
I highly recommend that this location get some sort of audit, because I have heard much of the same claims from friends, family, coworkers, etc., who attend this location.
I overheard one of the managers once being extremely disrespectful to her employee(s) which is in no way how you should be handling your store. I know it can be overwhelming and stressful as a manager, trust me, I do. But there needs to be some level or professionalism.
Just really saddened, but there are plenty of wonderful employees here, like a different woman who helped me with perfumes today, she was super kind, optimistic, helped me find the scent profile I was looking for and even showed me several perfumes in that category!
Ulta for me has always been a place to go where I can get affordable and diverse products with friendly service, just want to see some better treatment of employees and some customers at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust popped in to make some last minute purchases for the Texas Renaissance Festival this weekend. Everyone in there was so kind and friendly and helpful! Kat in particular was absolutely spectacular. Her energy was infectious and welcoming, and she was so willing to help! And when she couldnāt find what I was looking for, another kind lady stepped in to help! I cannot for the life of me remember her name but she had ginger hair cut short and was wearing bat wings on her head for the Halloween season! She tried to recruit me and, honestly, the environment was so warm and beautiful that she could have convinced me to work there if I didnāt need to make so much to pay my mortgage lol. And then Deandra checked me out with the same kindness and enthusiasm as everyone else. Literally every girl in the building had such wonderful energy, I was taken aback because normally everyone at a retail/customer service job is miserable. But not here! If I could name every employee there to give them each a glowing review, I would, but my memory is simply too bad. So glad this is the nearest Ulta to me because I never want to go to another one. 10/10. 5 stars. Brava!! Canāt wait...

I know what I'm looking for and sometimes that doesn't translate well with employees. However when I ask questions of the check out clerk and she's taking a call during the transaction it leaves a negative experience. Store is nicely organized. New and clean.
Update. 8/8/2022. Went to store at 10:15 in hopes for a better transactional experience. Nope. Not sure what could have happened in Melissaās day when the store opened at 10am but she had a difficult time providing positive and professional decorum for the customer. I did a return and purchase and she acted as of she was being put out by the work. Thought it was just me until an older customer came in and asked for help and Melissaās lack of patience was evident. What looked like a manager came to the rescue to help the older customer. Note to management. Move Melissa to the back for stocking and little to no interaction with customers that support her pay. The concept of being there for customers is completely...
