You would think that with all of the online competition, retail stores would give more incentive to shop and be less hostile towards their customers so they return shop! TJ Maxx makes you wait in the purchase line behind current shoppers to do a return instead of having a separate return line! There can sometimes be 50 people in front of you! DON’T PURCHASE SOMETHING IF YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE TO RETURN IT!!! You may have to wait for a half hour!!! Also, the whole process of the register/debit card function while performing a return is obscure and dismissive! The pay point requested my phone number and presented no other options so I told the girl I’m not giving my phone number to do a return! I told her to redo the process to which she replied “all you have to do is press this button” which of course the pay point didn’t direct me to do! The button bypassed the need for a phone number! Everything about their return process is designed to frustrate the customer so you’ll just give up and not perform a return! It feels like a big “F-You!” to the customer…a major hindrance! Thank you TJ Maxx for narrowing my options so that I look for alternatives before I shop at...

If you hire new personnel, please give them appropriate training for the cashier area, collection, product change! Today I went to make a size change (same product) and the cashier did not want to make the change (product purchased yesterday) she wanted to give me the $ in a gift card so I could make the new purchase later! I asked the cashier why and I told her I didn't agree! It would be better to return the $ to my card and I would make the new purchase! The cashier got upset, and everything new I bought I threw in the bag (glass things) I told her that because she didn't wrap it, they could break and she threw the bag at me! I don't usually review places but I think the cashier was arrogant, and her attitude is not appropriate to serve a customer! As a customer, it is not my fault that the employees at the checkout do not know the process of making a product change at the checkout and that it is easier for them to put the money on a gift card! Which in the end costs the company more because they use an unnecessary gift card! and please purchase more shopping carts for this particular store, there is never...

So let me clear things up here for some people complaining about the checkout. Yes the check out absolutely sucks but didn't you ever stop to notice how much crap people are purchasing not too mention it is the customers who take the longest to check out cause you either want a specific item to be marked down, or you have a crap ton of returns or you buy 20 freaking pieces of glassware and and the cashiers have to wrap them up. At times, yes, the store has limited cashiers, but that's not the stores fault. the fact that no one wants to work isn't the stores fault. So next time you are in the checkout lane, look at each customers cart just to see how much crap is in there. Shot out to all the awesome employees at Homegoods who work hard and have to deal with customers leaving full carts behind for us to put away or putting crap where it doesn't belong. Shot out to Letty, who is one of the nicest employees...

TJ Maxx and HomeGoods offer an impressive shopping experience, combining ample space for a diverse selection of quality clothing, stylish furniture, and gourmet food items all under one roof. Shoppers can delight in finding unique treats like genuine Scottish shortbread, authentic Italian biscottis, and imported Turkish delights, making it a one-stop destination for both home essentials and culinary delights. The store consistently features great deals, allowing customers to enjoy significant savings while browsing through well-kept stock that showcases a variety of brands and styles. Overall, this combo store is a fantastic choice for those seeking value and variety in their shopping endeavors.

Dropped by this location on 7/5. I personally prefer the HomeGoods side. T.J. Maxx always feels a mess to me. Like a nicer garage sale, just a mish-mash of items that are attempted to be classified by size and type. Un Pasticcio! HomeGoods though so many different goodies for the home. From rugs, lamps, and kitchen goods. I will say on a day where the line was as long it was, it was a bit disappointing for there to be only two cashiers and an associate who was training but would sporadically assist. She did in fact assist me. A Note to that cashier who was training, please don’t teach the new employees to call customers “honey” I personally did not appreciate it.

I only shop here for my dogs. I love how the pet aisle took over 4-6 shelves with such a variety in the area before the rugs and desk decor...HOWEVER, now the pet section is relocated to the back abyss corner where it decreases in size and is crowded by staff coming and going from the backroom. Please bring this section back to the original location and leave the abyss corner for blankets, pillows, towels or even clearance. Thank you so much.
