This place is a great stop for produce. The stuff here tastes better than anything you'll get from most of the grocery chains around here. The customer service is hit or miss, though. I have to say, the last time I went I had probably the rudest experience I've ever had at a grocer. The cashier asked me what the almond meal I was buying was for and upon telling her it was for apple crisp and having to explain what apple crisp is, she ignored me, made this awful scrunchy face like a toddler and said "eeeww, that's gross!" She then proceeded to shake her head and interrupt everything I had to say after that with a "no" like she was having a stroke. When she finished ringing me out, she immediately turned her back, so I very loudly told her to have a nice day just in case she wasn't trying to be rude and honestly couldn't remember that being polite is part of her job. She was probably a teenager (I hope) and did not seem like the sharpest crayon in the box by any means, quite the opposite, and I'm fairly certain I could've said the almond was for making yummy candy and she would've said "eeeeew gross!," but I was nothing but nice and did nothing to warrant that 'tude. I love the produce here, but if I'm going to have to possibly deal with empty-headed brats who want to foist their nasty attitudes on people, I'll pay the extra money and go to...
Read moreHello All, This was my first time going back here in a long time, reason I'm hardly ever on that side of town but today I was, not disappointed at all. Y'all they sale just about everything the only thing you have to make sure of that the price displayed is actually it and make sure it's the same at checkout. This is a mom and pop business with kids and maybe grandkids working there so getting over on a customer is possible but outside of the fresh fruits, veggies, they have preserve jar items, cheese, frozen stuff, go check them out someday you are over that way. Bring a towel because it's a outside fruit stand with cover but you will sweat. They have out fans going just make sure you know what you want and don't bring the kids unless they older, if you not there long leave them kids and babies in the car with a VERY RESPONSIBLE...
