Jessica the store manager lied to my face on multiple occasions, i. Ordered Black Ops 6 through gamestop.Solely for the purpose to receive the physical steelcase.That was the incentive to buy that game with gamestop and not anyone else. I waited for the midnight release stood in line for 3 hours just to be told the steel cases got delayed due to hurricane understandable. They said I would receive a call once they got in, with that said I called every few days just to make sure I didn't miss out because I always get a call when I pre order a game just as a reminder but I did not this time when Jessica showed me the list se had written down that my number was bad or something of that nature it was not I have never been out of service in 15 years. I asked her well are you still going to call me for the steel case arrival because you left that confusing note on my number she assured me yes. The last time I called her she said corporate said that they were not going to recive the steel cases because of shipping issues in fact the entire state of Florida missed out on them which was a lie. So I just got off the phone a few weeks after they said that Florida did not receive them only to be told yes they came in and they were all gone. I was the first person in line to receive my pre order on midnight release there wasn't a huge turn out like I was expecting only about 4 people including myself and I was like 6th on the list of people to call. So regardless of the outcome that is unacceptable I've been a pro member for years 15+ years and I'm done the only reason I purchased this game with gamestop instead of best buy was to collect the steel case and gamestop just screwed me over for the last time Jessica should be ashamed and discipline should follow from the district manager or something because she just lost a customer that has spent thousands over the years at this specific location very dishonest practices from a manager none the less ridiculous.
Edit: there is now an investigation on the manager from corporate hopefully it's gets handled properly as a collector i could care less about a store credit they could literally give me a ps5 it would not make up for this. collectors know what I'm...
