What’s good •   The store enjoys strong ratings: about 4.5 stars with over 1,500 reviews. •   Many customers highlight fresh produce and stock availability: “Love this place. Fresh produce and lots of Aldi finds in stock. Quick and friendly service and clean/organized aisles.” •   The layout and remodel appear to be a plus: “The store was remodeled a few months ago. It’s bright and clean and well stocked. The store is big and the aisles are nice and wide.” •   Good value: Many mention that the pricing is competitive (as you’d expect with ALDI’s model). •   The hours are convenient: Typically from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. most days.
•   Bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart — part of ALDI’s model. Some shoppers notice that when restocking or floor-stocking is happening during peak times, it can feel slightly disorganized.
🎯 Who it’s good for •   If you’re budget-conscious and looking for solid staple groceries (produce, frozen foods, everyday items) with good value, this ALDI is a very good fit. •   If you like a streamlined shopping experience (fewer frills, faster in and out) this store is likely to serve you well. •   If you don’t mind doing some of the shopping tricks (bring bags, accept limited brands) and want to stretch your grocery dollars.
📝 Tips for shopping here •   Go earlier in the day, especially for produce and fresh items — they tend to get picked over later. •   Check out the “Aldi Finds” sections (rotating specials) if you like discovering unique or seasonal items. •   Bring your own shopping bags (unless you wish to pay for bags) and remember the coin/quarter for the cart. •   If you have very specific brand preferences or are shopping for specialty items (e.g., large selection of brands, premium items), you may want to supplement with another store.
If you like, I can check current weekly specials, organic/health-food options, or compare this ALDI with other nearby supermarkets in St. Augustine to see how it stacks up. Would...
Read moreWhen Aldi's 1st opened of course they had proper staffing. Now, not so. Disappointing. I shop here for fresh fruit and veggies, the prices are great and beats Wal-Mart! Aldi's is now overly crowded and only 1 or 2 cashiers at most . Why aren't there more cashiers?!They seem to have a high turnover of personel. Why?
I personally like the eco idea of bring your own shopping bags. No plastic! Parking spots are difficult to find as the stores stay packed with customers but again, not enough cashiers.
The Stockers seem harried as if racing a time clock and it is typical to see a pallet jack on the floor. Not safe when there are customers who don't use common sense. In short, an accident waiting to happen.
The staff is polite and helpful but often times seems overwhelmed. You have more than plenty of customers so how about some more cashiers?!
Also how about doing applications online? Hmm. This is a technology world after all.
When recruitment is done in person for certain dates, the so-called recruiters come across as paper collectors or just plain disrespectful! I watched as one person was trying to strike up a conversation and was immediately shut down by a tow-head young man, 20ish who rudely said they were just here to collect applications. This is insulting and NONPROFESSIONAL to the applicant clearly interested and trying to get hired. If this behaviour is across the board as an Aldi standard, then this would explain the ridiculous overturn. Aldi's, y'all can do better than this...gravely...
Read moreAround March of 2020 I stopped going into the grocery store and began using Instacart for grocery delivery, but before and after I always gave Aldi my business.
I like that Aldi carries many kinds of organic produce and non-GMO selections. I enjoy their prices for staple foods. I like to browse their seasonal items. It has definitely been some time since moving through the store in person, and I enjoyed my visit arriving just before 7pm.
I like to put use the inventory boxes they've removed from the shelves sometimes found in bins around the store to cart home my groceries. I like that I can spend about $100 and be satisfied with my order as I load my vehicle.
The employees seem to always be working and busy, always looking to make things more neat and consolidated along the aisles while welcoming me to any boxes they might have eliminated in their process if I were to ask for one.
I wish Aldi carried organic cucumbers! Perhaps I just missed them while I was there, but we juice every morning and cucumbers are integral. We will only juice organic produce and were very happy to see their bags of organic celery were plentiful and a bit less expensive than other grocery stores.
Thanks so much for keeping your store clean and in order! It made our shopping experience so very peachy. We'll be back for more...
