My first visit was sketchy the employees were nice but VERY unprofessional. My second visit was a little more comforting but still had some questionable behaviors. My THIRD, which was definitely my last was unbelievable unacceptable, everything about the visit was horrible. I arrived and signed in on time, the dental assistant immediately but some gel in my mouth to numb my gum which had me thinking I was about to get work done in my mouth immediately, WRONG I didnât get work done until about an hour later which caused her to re numb my mouth AND give me two anesthesia shots in my mouth to numb it even more. Let me remind you, this was for a filling, not an extraction. Long story short, the dentistâs assistant/shadow person was sweet, but she was and is unprofessional, she answered her personal cell phone while she was holding an object in my mouth and my tooth was being filled. After my procedure, the dentist said if I was having any pains to call her and sheâd get some antibiotics sent to my pharmacist. To inform you, this appointment was January 16, 2018, today is January 24, 2018 . Iâve called this office about 8 times since my appointment to get antibiotics sent in.. given responses like âIâll relay the message to herâ, âShe will send them inâ , & âSheâs sending them todayâ.... called the pharmacy today, they received no call from this dentist office nor the dentist herself. Tried calling the office back and they are CLOSED as always. These people are bottom line unprofessional and seem to have no sense of urgency in the means of their patients. The only thing they should be certified in is neglecting patients and lollygagging during...
Read moreI needed a broken tooth removed. I was referred here. It took me so long to get an appointment. They DO NOT answer the phones here. And they DO NOT return calls. You literally have to go all the way there to get an appointment. There can be wait times as well. Nobody wants to wait two weeks to have an excruciating tooth extracted.
The lady who did my tooth extraction was very nice, and did a nice job of throwing off the entire alignment of my mouth. Now my teeth don't touch and the other side of my mouth rubbed a sore from where something odd happened with my mouth due to her pushing and pulling etc. It probably would have been better to CUT the molar out but they didn't.
Nevertheless, I have to go back here again and so I can only hope things are better this time around. They are busy and this is low income/reduced cost dentistry and so I can't too much complain but things aren't excellent here.
EDIT: Had to return as I said. Took me many calls to finally get someone on the line. I was told to just walk in for my issue. Turns out they don't do many things here. They don't do root canals, they don't do extraction of wisdom and molars. I went there, paid my copay, waited, and all this just to be seen and told there's nothing they can do.
Now I have to wait over two weeks just to be put into the system with the referral. Again waiting weeks with a painful tooth that they should have taken the first time (but refused) is not fun. The doctor was nice though and prescribed me antibiotics and Motrin... Which helps a little...
Read moreI came her for a simple routine dental cleaning. I got an x-ray and while the tech was removing the machine she hit my tooth and a piece of it broke off. They then told to reschedule at another time to get an extraction because it was damaged real bad. I came for the extraction a couple of days later. They numb my mouth pulled for about 30-45min. They kept stopping and going in and out of the room. Finally she called in Dr. McCants for some assistance. Only for her to again pull and tug , then said oh your tooth is to close to your sinuses we have to referr you out. Well if you saw the X-ray before shouldn't you notice that from the start (my inner thoughts). Dr. Mccants told the tech call to make sure she get some thing soon becuse its considered an emergency. I asked for antibiotics to prevent infection and she said no need but I'll give you med for pain only because we are pulling in your tooth. It's been 4 days of not being ble to eat and im on pain meds. Oh did I memtion i now have an infection. I come back to inform them of my situation and the front desk receptionist told me that iam better off calling the number on the back of my card to find a private surgeon because the wait period was going to be to long. She told me that they do not call all they do is fax the referrals and that's it. Wow all this pain and aggravation because I wanted a simple cleaning. This was the worst experience ever....
