If you're in Herndon area and craving authentic Indian cuisine, Hello2India is a must-visit spot that combines the charm of a grocery store with the delights of a street food café. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the variety and quality of offerings. The pani poori was a standout—crispy, flavorful, and reminiscent of the street-side stalls in India. Beyond that, the store offers a wide array of ready-to-eat options, including fresh rotis and a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries, perfect for those on the go or looking for a quick meal after work.
For meat lovers, Hello2India provides halal-certified meats, ensuring quality and authenticity. The grocery section is well-stocked with a diverse range of Indian staples, from spices and lentils to snacks and sweets, making it a one-stop shop for all your culinary needs.
What truly sets Hello2India apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Read moreHello 2 India in Herndon is a good store for anyone looking for authentic Indian groceries, meats, and quick bites under one roof. The store is clean, well‑organized, and makes it easy to find everything from spices and lentils to fresh produce and bakery items. Their halal meat section is especially impressive, offering fresh chicken, goat, and lamb at fair prices.
They also have a small food court that’s worth checking out. The samosas and chaats are crisp and satisfying, and the biryani specials hit the spot. Their masala tea and Irani chai are flavorful and comforting, perfect for a quick break while shopping. The only thing I’d note is that the spice levels and flavors in some dishes can be a little inconsistent—sometimes bold and authentic, other times a bit mild.
What makes Hello 2 India stand out is the combination of a full grocery, halal butcher, bakery, and snack counter all in one place. It’s not a sit‑down restaurant with ambiance, but as a market and quick‑serve eatery, it covers a lot and does most of it very well.
Definitely a go‑to spot in Herndon if you’re looking for authentic ingredients and a taste of Indian street‑style snacks without having to make...
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars. I bought goat meat here couple of days back and I am writing this review right after I put my hard work in washing, marinating, and cooking the meat amidst limited time I get on weekends. After all the hard work of cooking, Goat meat pieces tastes PATHETIC - each piece is like charcoal - ZERO flavor - it is like eating and chewing tire rubber pieces...just outright horrible. My kids are eagerly waiting for lunch goat curry and now I trash the whole thing. I spent $62 for buying 5lbs of goat back leg from this place and the whole thing goes to trash. Never ever I will go to this halal meat place ever again. First and last! I am surprised by the positive reviews which I am pretty sure someone associated with the store could've created those reviews. No where their halal meat is anywhere close to even called meat. Plastic or rubber is suitable word. I am so frustrated after all my effort and money gone to waste buying...
