Hollywood Houndz Boutique, Spa & Hotel — Attraction in Longwood

This place has changed my dogs life forever. I got an email from them offering a non-sedation teeth cleaning. I called and scheduled an appointment. They told me it would take about 20 minutes for the cleaning. I added a bath which they said added an additional 1 1/2 hours. I called them 2 hours later and they said they needed an additional hour. no problem. I show up an hour later only to find out that my 7 year old dog lost 3 of her teeth while being cleaned. The worst part is her two front top teeth are now missing. I couldn't believe they wouldn't call me to let me know or perhaps inform me when I called to check on her. My dog hasn't been able to eat solid food, she has been crying and will not come out of her crate. I took her to my Vet today and they agreed that this is not normal. It's also abnormal not to call the owner if something like this is happening during the procedure. My dog is now going to live a life without bones, hard treats and will be forced to eat can food forever. Her favorite treats have been thrown away and the staff at Hollywood Houndz wants me to believe that during a routine cleaning, it's normal for your dog to loose multiple teeth. 3 days later there is no call to check on her. I see now why they had me pay before I got my dog. You should give that money back so I can replace the food and treats. You should also pay my vet bill from today but sadly I see how the owner responds to every complaint. no...

After years going there They decided they no longer want me as a customer. The last few times I’ve taken my dog there for a bath, I pick her up and the back of her paws are dirty and wet. I let the owner know yesterday to pay special attention to this and asked to make sure she’s fully dry. My dog is an Akita. I understand it is a lot of fur and difficult job. When I picked her up, the same issue occurred. I showed the girl at the counter and she offered me a free wash Monday. Today, I get s call from the owner offering to refund the money and asking me never to bring her back. I went in to the shop and spoke to the owner, he said it is always something with me and he is sorry but he can’t make me happy. He explains that the bath my dog receives is very hard work and the cost doesn’t justify keeping me as a customer. I’ve boarded my dog at this place, I’ve been a customer for years and never complained before to my recollection. He says my dog is difficult, first time I’ve heard this.

I never asked for a free anything. All I wanted was a clean dog. Truly, this was a luxury because I know my dog looks her best when I wash her myself. I’ve recommended many people go to Hollywood Houndz in the past, but never again. For anyone who is in customer service the best thing to do is listen and find a path forward. I will never recommend this place to anyone again, which is sad because they are a small business and could do better if they knew how to...

I dropped my dog off for boarding and a groom upon calling to make an appointment I stated she would be there 2 nights and get a bath and a cut the girl I spoke with was very nice and documented everything I said. When I showed up to drop her off they had no idea what I was taking about and that should have been a sign to just walk out but we needed my dog watched for 2 nights so I ended up explaining it all over again that she is shedding a lot and needed a cut and that I was fine with it being short that they should do whatever they recommend. 1 hour before I was going to pick her up they called and asked what grooming was she going to get. At this point there was not point in cutting her as I thought it would have been done being I would be there in an hour. They stated she was bathed and was drying to call back before I show up to get her to make sure she was dry. At this point I’m mad because I explained twice what I wanted done and nothing was done. When I picked her up the Guy came out and said he could refund the bath but we said no beings she was washed and I would pay for it but they excuse given about the cut was he should have documented what we spoke about also she was never blown out she’s still shedding and covered in loose fur which I’ve never had happen after a grooming. With that said we will not be bringing our dog back I shouldn’t have to explain what we wanted done 3 times yet alone an hour before...
