Worst dining experience I’ve had in a very long time… I’m not the type to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this experience qualifies for it. We were celebrating a birthday and had a party of 17 people. We sat down and had to flag down our waitress to place our order and had gotten menus from our family members. The menu had a large selection and we decided to order a lobster bisque (which only came in a full size with no appetizer size option) and a plate to share of their dinner special the bone in veal chop with mashed potatoes and asparagus at a market price. We waited about 45 minutes and all the parties at the table had eaten their entrees when we decided to ask when our food would arrive. She stated that the veal takes a very long time to cook and seemed to have forgotten we had also ordered the soup. Upon mentioning the soup, 10 minutes later the soup came out. Soup was about an 8/10 in flavor but I did notice some separation towards the top as If it had been sitting unstirred for a while. The veal (which we ordered at a medium temperature per the waitresses suggestion) arrived at the table and we immediately cut into it and noticed it was cooked fully to a well done temperature. The mashed potatoes were two small a scoops and were very dry and required gravy to be palpable. The asparagus was soggy and overcooked. The gravy over the veal was bland and mediocre. Entire meal receives a 3/10 We flagged down our waitress once again to advise our veal was cooked incorrectly and she went back to the kitchen to advise the chef of the issue. She returned, took the plate, and advised that there was another veal being made to a medium rare temperature and that she would pack it up for us to take it to-go noticing that our cake had already came out and we were also getting closer to their closing time. She returned in about 20 minutes with the new meal prepared and asked us to check the temperature. The veal was cooked to medium NOT medium rare but we chose to accept it. When the bill arrived, market price ended up being $80 for the subpar, incorrectly cooked veal. We were not offered any discounts for the inconvenience and requested compensation. She said she could not do anything and that she would have to request the manager because they had already made us two orders. To clarify, we were not even given the option to remove the entree from the bill. We requested the manager and he arrived, we explained our concerns to him, and he walked away without saying a word. The waitress comes back with out bill with a 50% discount on the entree which honestly wasn’t even worth that (refer to photo attached). Overall, this restaurant is trying to be something that they are not. Extremely overpriced for mediocre entrees, lack of experienced personnel, and lack of ethical decision making by the manager. Will not be returning.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time last night for date night. We heard such wonderful reviews about this local place, and we were not disappointed! We started off with a bottle of this wonderful red wine from Tuscany that was delicious and bold. They said it was a house favorite as well. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer and it was so flavorful and not greasy at all! We both enjoyed our meals too! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and loved the nice sweet touch of the sun dried tomatoes! My boyfriend loved the sauce on his lobster ravioli too! He rarely if ever says a restaurant taste really good or amazing, so for him to enjoy it as much as I did really made me happy! Our server was absolutely wonderful, and the owner was so gracious and helpful. It is such a cute local joint with a nice ambiance. The live piano player added such a lovely touch! We will be back soon for the wine tasting next week. Thank you guys for the wonderful food and hospitality. :)

How is a restaurant that has NO CEILINGS charging $50 for salmon and potatoes?! This place is so underwhelming and overpriced. Had a large party and the 1 staff member that was working (on a Saturday evening) brought out our drinks 1 by 1 which took an hour. Luckily the kitchen did their job and the food was hot and tasty. Probably the only reason why I gave 2 stars. The server never asked to refill out drinks though with all the waiting we didn’t even want to ask. When they asked if we wanted boxes a few people said no and the server rolled their eyes as they took the plates of food away. Oh, but when they came to collect the bill that was the tastes they’d been the entire time! Will never come here again. If you’re thinking about it just get take out because the food isn’t bad if you want to take out a loan for a meal.

Lake Mary! We have a winner! Cork & Olive Restaurant is nestled right in our backyard and what a dining gem it is. No longer does the wife and I have to travel to downtown Orlando, Daytona Beach, or even Jacksonville, to satisfy our fine dining cravings. The many facets of the restaurant are cut with precision…It is a gem. Our first visit was met with true dining room ambience, from the lighting, the exquisite wine wall display, seating, bar attractiveness, and the open view to an immaculate maintained kitchen. Oh, I forgot to mention the wine inventory is outstanding! Owners: Antoney & Mary know their stuff! Their warm and sunny approach when greeting their diners adds additional flavor to your meal and makes it just that much more enjoyable. I felt so right at home. Chef Johnny Adam’s has Michelin Star qualities in his hands when it comes to preparing the appetizers to the main entrees. I am an Air Force retiree and had the opportunities to dine in many countries and at many Michelin Star establishments. Upon my fist visit, and as I have done with many restaurants in the past. I always order something basic and least expensive. This visit I decided to try the special which was Chicken Marsala. Let me tell you it was absolutely “Delicious”! The chicken was so tender I could cut it with a spoon. The choice of the Marsala wine blended with the seasonings like inseparable twins. Our second visit I stepped up my choice to the Seafood medley special. It tasted like Poseidon himself was in the kitchen blending all the locally caught fresh Florida fish and shellfish…. To die for folks! We have found our favorite dining spot right here in lovely Lake Mary. Don’t pass this place up folks you will not regret it! The pricing is well within budget $$. Five Stars for Cork & Olive! See you...

First time visit with friends. Hadn't made a reservation and place was full with event when we arrived. Noticed space at the bar and asked if we could sit there, was told yes no problem. We looked over the menu and started to order with our server (who was great by the way) then a commotion ensued and we were advised by the owner/manager our appetizers would take at least half an hour, for a salad, a bowl of soup and selection of bruscheta because of the event and the number of people in the restaurant. Our server fought our corner for us and said we should have been advised of this when we were told we could sit at the bar. It was ridiculous. The appetizers came and we're really nice. The mains however we're not as good. The 'special' meatballs and spaghetti were good but not worth the $28 price tag. My husband's crab cakes arrived cold, we gave them a 2nd opportunity to get it right and they arrived just warm again! Priced at $40 not great. The real kicker however is the 3% fee for payment with a card and a minimum 18% plus tip amount set on the card machine. Overall $300 for 4 people, what an absolute rip off and I hope to God that the tip went solely to our phenomenal server and not into the owners pockets, because ONLY she deserved that tip last night. These prices are equal to Ruth Chris Steak House prices were we go for a treat, however the quality and standards at this establishment are NOWHERE NEAR the same standards. I have never felt so ripped off in my whole life and will not be returning...
