I'm SO happy to have such great boba in Converse now. You can't go wrong with the Original Milk Tea with Boba. The boba is extremely QQ and cooked to perfection- bouncy and chewy but not hard or undercooked, and not overcooked to mush like most other places. My only gripe is I wish they offered more sugar level options, I asked for 30% sweetness and saw it was only entered in as "less sugar" which to me means they can't really adjust/customize the sweetness as specifically as most other places. The less sweet Milk Tea was still the tiniest too sweet for my liking but otherwise perfect in terms or taste and texture! My partner ordered their less sweet Green Apple Green Tea, and we both agreed it was still too sweet and tasted like candy/syrup, which is expected but still hope they offer more sugar level options in the future. We would say their "less sweet" option is about a 75% sweetness level standard to boba chains. The inside is extremely clean with board game offerings and friendly staff. They offer SO many flavors and toppings which is a bonus! With the versatility, you are bound to find something...
Read moreDONT GO HERE: Takes forever to get drink If you get “no ice” they’ll only fill your cup half way!
I was genuinely excited to try this place, but unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I’m not someone who typically leaves negative reviews — I believe in giving places the benefit of the doubt. However, after waiting over 15 minutes for just one drink (with only one employee visible), I remained patient. What truly left a bad impression was what followed: I requested no ice in my drink, only to be handed a cup that was barely half full.
When I politely explained that at most establishments, “no ice” simply means the cup is filled with the beverage instead, the employee told me I’d need to pay for an extra drink if I wanted a full cup. That response felt unreasonable and dismissive.
It’s disappointing when poor service overshadows a customer’s excitement to support a business. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements — both in customer...
Read moreI visited Kai Tea recently and ordered a drink with no ice, but was only given half a cup. When I politely asked about it, I was told that’s the “normal amount” I’d get with ice. I understand if there’s a portion standard, but I paid full price for a drink and expected a full cup—just without ice. The response I got felt dismissive, and it left a bad impression. I usually enjoy supporting local spots, but I hope this can be addressed more respectfully...
