I have been a loyal member of gamestop since July 2012 and have never been so disappointed in the manner I was treated by employee 534556/Brittany today at one of your locations Judson Market 8455 CRESTWAY DR Converse TX ,78109. First off when I pulled up to the store wondering if it was open or not because the open sign was turned off and it was around 3:20 pm so I'm not sure if they were having issues but that is really unprofessional it might confuse alot of customers thinking the store is closed. When I first entered the store I wasn't greeted by the only lady there. Yes she was helping one other customer that was there at the time so I really didn't mind so I walked around for a bit. After I stood in line for a few minutes it was time for me to ask for assistance. I asked the lady if I could purchase 2 crown Zenith ETB and immediately got answered in a upset manner no but I can sell you only one. I was pretty shocked to hear that answer especially in such a rude tone.I asked why only one and her response to me was that she could only sell one so the rest of the customers could get a chance to get one. I was upset that she could not sell me two of them. I wasn't asking for five or 10 which of course I would not purchase that many so I could leave enough for the rest of the customers. As a paying Customer I would have expected her to at least sell me two per transaction;especially if gamestop is in the business of making money?I did not see any quantity restrictions I could buy per transaction for the item.This is not the first time 534556/Brittany has been rude to me or other customers. Read moreI shop around and do my research whenever I plan to make a purchase of something that costs alot. When that's something is an electronic device that produces strong opinions towards it, good and bad. If that wasn't enough everyone who sells them has a different incentive to hook you on buying it from them. I was going to buy an "Xbox One X" and at the going rate of $499.99 I wanted as much as I could get for that. So I concluded that "Game Stop" had the most to offer on that day. I went in and asked the sales manager about the deal I saw online. Basically, an extra wireless controller for free. He told me that he was sorry but that offer expired the previous day. I thanked him and I turned around and walked out. I knew he was wrong because I had the add special on my phone. I was just going to go to a different "Game Stop" down the road. Then I thought I would give him a second chance because I've made a mistake before too. I think ? Anyway I went back in and he spoke up right as I was asking about it. He apologized for getting the date wrong. He thought it was the 7th instead of the 6th. His flyer said it ended on the 7th, but I had to inform him oline it was not ending for another week still. His attitude toward me and admitting a mistake was refreshingly candid and he wasn't unpleasant at all. He did try to upsale me to upgrade my membership rewards card pointing out how it would have saved me money on that purchase but I had not shopped there in almost 2 years so a discount on future purchases in the next year didn't make "cents". Sorry bad pun. He agreed with me and dropped it right away. I will be leaning towards doing business with him and that "Game Stop" without hesitation. Read moreThis has to be the worst GameStop location in the United States I do not understand why the corporate office has not come down and reprimanded the people who are running this store location. I just watched 11 potential customers go up to the door and turn around and leave. I guess GameStop can just throw money away like this and not care about their clientele it is 12:37 noon today on Valentine's Day no one is still not here they open whenever they want to even on a regular day without Covid-19 or anything else going on and they try to blame it on Covid-19 or weather-related issues and none of it exists that will keep them from opening as long as they follow safety Protocols of Covid-19 they just make up excuses not to be to work on time usually they open between 1 and 1:30 and they have a posted opening time of 12:00 noon 7 day a week . I don't understand why no one is being terminated for this if you can't get up and come to work at 12 noon then you do not need a job . I've never seen anything like this where is Corporate and why are they allowing this store location to embarrass their companies customer...
