Kids Land — Attraction in Riverdale

I honestly wanted to leave a good review today....however my experience is something that needs to be talked about. My family decided to throw a party here for my daughter's 4th Birthday. A few minutes after setup ( not even 30 minutes), the manager/ owner comes in the room talking about when we would get our food and WHEN WE HAVE TO BE OUT, emphasizing that if we stay over 15 minutes it's an additional $50.00. Like geez lady, can we enjoy our family moments together before you come barging in our party and start barking about prices? We we'rent even in the first 1hr yet. Let the family enjoy themselves atleast, then if needed take the person who booked the party to the side (if that's even necessary) to remind them about additional fees. Prices are already noted before booking the party online about additional time needed as it is. What you did today was take away our piece of mind and put us in a rush mode so we wouldn't go over the allotted time . Also folks, just note that if you book a party here, and there's food left over... you CAN'T leave the food in the room, you have to put it in your car if the kids still want to play, which makes no sense anyway if your near closing time, like whats the big deal? Additionally, if your setting up your party and you have a lot of things to bring in, you have to take off your shoes every time you enter the building, complete hassle....especially when other guest are walking out with their shoes on SMH. Last but not least, you should train your staff to talk to guest in a respectful welcoming manner and NOT authoritative as if your some type of security. Before I forget as well, it doesn't hurt to hire a sanitation company to WASH the play equipment, the place smells similar to a mans locker room . Can you please replace the balls in the play pen, half of the balls are deflated or just completely worn out and stained from sweat. Can you get the marry go round fixed or replaced? Its been broken for over 2 years. Can you fix the trampolines? When the kids are jumping the pads shift and expose metal. This place is waiting for a lawsuit from kids getting hurt on the broken equipment. Its sad because this place has sooo much potential to be something spectacular in the neighborhood, but I don't think the owner too much cares about that. She just sees the money now, and NOT what she can potentially have. You been warned! We will never throw another party here...

This was the worst experience ever... I threw a party for my son and their a/c did not work in the room. I recieved two fans but it was still hot.. then I was inform that the air dont work in any of the boys rooms. They call me twice before I came to ask the time I would like my party to start but never informed me that the room didn't have a/c it over 87. degrees outside and that how it felt in that room. They informed me that the only girl room had a/c. My son party of 20 wasn't able to take pic or enjoy anything because we were offered a girls room. Then once the party was over I begun cleaning once I get to the door the police meets me there not 1 car but 3 cars while I'm with all the kids. They informed me they was called because I wasn't leaving when I was cleaning up my mess. I spent $239 once I arrived when I booked I put a $50 nonrefundable deposit which I didn't mind if I received everything I paid for but I didn't and I want a refund. I spoke to an employee and asked her if I could speak to the manager which she stated she was unable so I ask for a complaint sheet. I would give this place a 0 if I could. I took my daughter to play and we didn't know the adults couldn't be up there so we went with her. It was FILTHY. It should be shut down it was so DANGEROUS for children. Almost every direction you turn the areas were closed off because the fabric was torn or the bridges were broken. there were places with random ropes hanging where the nets were torn.There was broken metal on one bridge where the ball shooting gun was only hanging on by ONE BOLT! The bounce house had so many patches they started using duct tape. The trampoline had holes in it. I even came across one part of the floor on the third level up that felt like it was tilting when we went across it so I pulled on the corner to see if it was secure and YOU COULD PICK UP THE FLOOR. Someone could fall right through. And the worker told us we couldn't be up there with our daughter. There is no way I'm sending my small toddler up into something like that without me. Needless to say I got my money back and left. I drove 40 mins to be there and I will literally never ever go back. I posted a few photos for reference if you click on my name and...
