I have frequented this Popeyes over many years and what makes this review unfair is the majority of the time I have no issues. Sadly, people dont usually review about how wonderful a place is unless it made a big impression on them but as soon as a mediocre place gives you terrible service, that is what sticks in your memory. This is one of those reviews. Last night around 8:30-8:45, my gf and I pulled up to the drive thru at Popeyes behind one car who was finishing up their order. They pulled off to the next window so I pulled up to the intercom. We already knew what we wanted and I sat patiently waiting for someone to greet me via the intercom. About 2 min went by so I said hello. A man said, "Thanks for choosing Popeyes Please Hold." I said ok and my gf and I talked in the car. I noticed 2 cars behind me waiting as well. About 6 minutes went by and no one said anything. One of the cars behind me left. I just decided to leave and when I pulled around a young man was bringing food out to a customers vehicle. I put my arms out and said, "Whats going on with the wait time?" He says, "I am on the register and you can come in and place your order." I just left. A few things upset me about this experience. I shouldn't have to pull up and say Hello to get assistance. I shouldn't have had to wait 8 min and no one reach out. If they were understaffed or backed up, the young man should have offered me to come in the store when I got there so my time wouldn't have been wasted. That's not even the end of the story. I went back today to get my fix from what I couldn't get last night and luckily I got prompt service via the intercom at the drive thru. I ordered A spicy chicken thigh and a large red beans and rice. They ended up putting on the ticket a Spicy Thigh but gave me a regular one. I didn't even turn around to make them correct it. I was through dealing with this Popeyes. I dont know if they have new management or what but I was very disappointed in their service and performance. Ashanti the cashier and the little short brown skin girl with tattoos on her hands with glasses, putting the orders together, arguing with a customer because the guy said he didn’t get his biscuit. She has the nastiest attitude I’ve ever seen. She says to the man “i put a biscuit in your bag and I’m not going to argue over no biscuit and ignored the customer! The nice lady manager Ms Denise with the blonde braids walked over and gave him his biscuit. I get everyone makes mistakes and I understand that but you pretty much have no trust in the customers and the way it looks is the employee are always right, which she was not! Then even after the customer was gone, Ashanti keeps talking about the customer and totally forgets my food!! Which i order thru an app but still had to wait over 30mins until she was finished disrespecting the customer! It’s called fast food for a reason!!! We all on break trying to get back to work like wow!! Maybe if she stops picking on the customers, she can get the orders out on time! I guess this location doesn’t care about Customer Service. Everytime I come here it’s always a problem either with myself or somebody else. Someone really needs to check them on Customer Service! It’s terrible! The manager here was so pleasant, I actually feel bad for her having to manage all these kids over food they keep messing up! Y’all need to get this poor lady some new respect staff. Read moreThis location is very slow. Pulled into the parking lot to go to the drive thru at 11pm did not get to the speaker until 1130pm (there were 3 other cars in front at 11pm). Placed my order telling me they did not have what I wanted, asked for something else then they said no biscuits or sides (not no to want I wanted when you should have said that you were out of everything the first time) so I said will I be able to get a coupon of some sort to compensate. They told me to pull up to the window, there she proceeded to tell me they are actually closed and really can't give out coupons. Mind you online they say open until 12 and she then directed me to a sticker on the drive thru window that says open to 11pm but then she says we stay open because I have extra chicken.
Sweetheart! Just close the place at the time your supposed to and stop fooling and wasting people time. You wasted my time. Now your putting a bad name out there for this location and Popeyes in general all while wasting your breath. Get it together. The homeless will surely appreciate JUST chicken if that's all you got. That way you can drop off the chicken in the morning at a shelter and go home on time to your kids and/or grandkids where I'm sure they'll enjoy your company. Because no one.....I mean no one who is paying wants just the chicken...
