Main Street Fudge & Popcorn Company — Attraction in Dover

The ice cream and popcorn were good, but the woman who dished up my ice cream cone coughed into her food-service gloves twice and handled her water bottle before serving up my ice cream. NOT very sanitary! It was difficult to have a conversation with our friends while we were eating our ice cream at the table in the shop. The girls in the kitchen at the front of the shop were talking, joking, singing so loudly we could barely hear one another speak. No one in leadership at the shop made any effort to get them to tone down. It was very annoying and unprofessional. We won't be coming back. We can enjoy an ice cream and conversation...

We thoroughly enjoyed the product we got at our first visit. Our second visit however was not. We purchased eight different products the second visit and half of it was either stale or grossly over flavored. We had cheddar popcorn that was so bitter we had to throw it out. Two of the others were very very stale. And one of the other flavor popcorn was so salty we could have shaken the salt out and filled up a salt shaker with it. This shop is awesome ! Their selection is amazing and they have an amazing establishment. Other than the amazing staff, the ice cream here is great and the flavors are very rich and filling at a very affordable price. This place has an amazing atmosphere made for conversating and I highly recommend it. The downside is that their website is sort of lacking due to the expensive shipping option.
