Table Rock Pizzeria — Restaurant in Dover

Nice little pizza place tucked in the lower floor of a local shop. They have a very nice pizza oven that is easily the highlight of the casual space a bit reminiscent of an old-school pizza parlor. It's always a nice bonus when you can (at least partially) see the young staff prepare your order (including stretching and tossing the dough) in front of you. I was a little disappointed that the dough they trim off the edges before they apply the toppings is thrown away, it was a baseball-sized collection of it that could've been rolled into another batch or used for their garlic knots.

We ordered 2 pizzas, both at the same time. 1 - 8" & 1 - 12". Nothing special except on the 12", provolone cheese and both of them we asked for the cheese on top. Plus garlic knots.

We were a bit disappointed. The knots came out first, was good but marinara sauce was cold. Prefer the sauce to be warm. 8" pizza came out 10 mins later. Was disappointed with the amount of cheese. Took almost 15 mins to get the 12" pizza after the 8" pizza came out. Same scenario with the cheese. Come on!! The amount of cheese on each pizza is pathetic and the amount of time between pizza's that we ordered together. Both were cooked and flavorful. Employees were polite and the establishment...

We stopped in around 7 on a Thursday night after reading good reviews of this place. Sorry I don't remember the names of the guy and gal working that night, but they were so nice and really helpful. We couldn't decide between the calzone or just pizza. The girl told us how incredible the calzone was so we ordered that and a medium Deluxe style pizza. We did carryout and they had them both done so fast. The pizza was really good, but that calzone was outstanding! The dough was brushed with butter and it all is baked in a wood fired oven.
