Needing a replacement mattress for our guestroom on short notice we visited Mattress Warehouse in Charlottesville. The salesperson (MAX?) was excellent. He listened well to our need, concerns about materials and quality. He gave us three or four options including a custom adaptation to fit an antique bed frame (which we did not end up choosing). The set we chose was well within our budget and was as good as "floor sample" specials we had seen elsewhere. While the purchase order/delivery form was quite cryptic. Max was responsive to my questions about exactly what these SKU and DESC codes meant. We also got the exact manufacturing information and model number off the tag on the model in the store. Delivery was made the very next day with those delivering giving us a clear 3 hour window, a anticipated time within that and a timely update as their delivery schedule progressed. Those delivering the set were courteous and careful. They helped confirm the exact specifications of the mattress delivered, help me document the delivery and condition, and removed the old set using the sealing bags that contained the...

I visited the Mattress Warehouse in Charlottesville on January 1, 2024. My two kids and I were recovering from a fire from a neighbor’s townhouse that caused significant damage to our townhouse.

Juan was working and I told him I looked online at their site along with a local competitor and saw that Mattress Warehouse’s prices were lower. I had a mattress in mind but tried a couple mattresses, discussed some physical challenges I had, and Juan suggested I try a different mattress in comparison. The other mattress was more expensive but Juan was able to lower the price and I purchased an adjustable base which he also lowered the price of.

Juan was so kind, understanding, patient and honestly I still have a great deal of trauma from the fire and all of the aspects of what losing your home means, and he patiently listened. Juan never rushed me through the process, went over guidelines and my new mattress and adjustable base will be delivered tomorrow for free!

My husband and I met the sales associate Ruel while he was filling in for someone at the hollymead location and from the get go he was nothing short of amazing. He listened to our needs and concerns and was extremely knowledgeable and understanding, I even joked about him attending mattress school lol to which he replied "I actually did for a month". I was extremely impressed with how knowledgeable he was (had to mention that again lol) he clearly takes pride in his job and is passionate about helping people to find the best "sleep product" as he referred to it as. We didn't But that day but went back to visit him at his actual store on 29th place a few days later and did purchase there! Again we felt like we were being taken care of and treated well (no salesman gimmicks. We cannot wait to have our mattress delivered and I would definitely recommend MATTRESS WAREHOUSE to any...
