If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter and I went to see A Wrinkle in Time this afternoon. We never go to the movies because it's overpriced but I wanted to have a fun afternoon with my daughter to celebrate her good report card. We were the only people in the theater other than a woman who brought her young child and an infant. The baby cried off and on for over an hour. I finally got up and went to alert someone who works in the theater. I apologized and said I realize it's awkward but the noise is ruining the movie. They apologized and said they'd take care of it. They proceeded to completely mishandle the situation. They sent someone in right behind me who then stood right next to the lady. Finally she got up and very loudly asked if there was a problem. The GTC employee told her that we complained about her baby. Seriously? She then started yelling and said to me "B* I PAID MY MONEY TOO!" And "The baby is sleeping now so." The GTC employee then walked out. He did absolutely nothing to handle the situation and allowed her to stay in spite of the verbal harassment and noise. He put me and my daughter in an unsafe situation with someone who is mentally unhinged. She continued huffing and puffing and calling me a b* after he left. We were stuck in the movie theater with this person who was raging and unpredictable. When we left the theater she was waiting for us in the lobby- to do what? I'm not sure. I asked to speak to the manager. I was met with an extremely rude, hostile, argumentative incompetent person named Matt Schoeb. He wouldn't listen when I was telling him what happened. He cut me off over and over and wanted me to leave. He told me the lady was calling the police on me because I was videoing her. Of course I'm videoing- this lady is verbally harassing me and is now stalking me and my daughter in the lobby of the theater! Yes! I'm recording! He gave no apology, no refund (not that that would've fixed anything) and when I told him we wouldn't be back he said "good." It was truly the twilight zone- he treated us like we were the scum of the earth. I never once said anything to the lady- I didn't treat her with any disrespect and I was actually pretty calm when I talked to the manager in spite of him pushing my buttons and treating me like I had done something awful. He refused to give me his bosses contact information. I'm absolutely horrified. Never ever go here. The employees are severely lacking in common sense and human...

Came to Merchant’s Walk because it’s one of the few theaters showing Maestro and we wanted to experience it in surround sound.
Staff were nice, concessions were good - loved my freezie drink and soft pretzel! - and we were excited to find some really comfy reclining seats and stadium seating even in our small theater.
So, it’s not your fault there was an elderly gentleman who fell asleep beside us and snored through the movie, nor is it your fault there was a moviegoer who had Tourette’s who called out “lick my ba**s, daddy” three times when the theater got quiet but that was definitely a lot to take in.
The sound in our theater was great but it was a small room. When the action movies in the theaters next to us got exciting we were listening to THEIR audio too - helicopters and gunshots - which takes away from the experience. It was also a cold evening and when the emergency heat cut on it was so loud it was overpowering our movie’s sound.
Those comfy chairs? When you use the buttons to raise or lower the recliner the motor makes a whiny, whirring sound. We spent two hours listening to the symphony of people around us playing with their chairs.
All in all, frustrating when you just want to immerse yourself in a movie for a couple hours but reality is constantly interrupting...
Read moreThey canceled the 7:00 show in less than a hour of show time.....I purchased tickets through fandango and cannot get my money refunded until further notice.....we drove all the way from Acworth to Marietta location in poor weather because of the locations being closed. I understand safety first but it is bad business to sell tickets for a movie in less than a hour to the show time and then cancel the production on that short of a notice at the time of closing there was hardly any winds and just steady rain......also even though the lady was trying to be helpful and did offer some form of compensation (They gave us four complementary tickets) I wasted almost 30 dollars for that movie and gas down. The person that was seeing the movie with me lives 2 hours away from Acworth almost 2 and half from the theater and also my son had to be watched which cost more money.....I am very upset that they allowed tickets to be sold that close to show time and then canceled the show on...
